jen_the_scribe One of the books I‘m currently reading is about E.B. White‘s wife, she was one of the initial editors of The New Yorker (the only female editor for a very long time). She actually met E.B. White as he started sending in submissions for the magazine and eventually became part of the staff. Interesting to read about her (and him, as he obviously comes up a lot). 21h

AllDebooks I just got triggered by reading reposed in the intro! Too much of that in Udolpho 3mo

mcctrish I have to say I share Laura‘s decor style, every summer I decorated the inside of outhouse at the cottage with pictures from magazines my aunt got from her friend who worked for Air Canada. Every summer had a theme- once it was food, once flowers, once each wall a different colour. The pig running away mid kill made me laugh out loud 3mo
