1. The tree stays up until late February/early March (the beginning of the year's too gloomy without twinkly lights!) Anything else Christmasy comes down by the first week of January, but I leave snowmen/wintry decorations up.
2. Hmm, I love both, but I'd have to pick snow! ❄☃️
Consider yourself tagged if you'd like to play along!

Tonight is for white lights, winter reads, and hiding under as many blankets as I can find ❄📖🐻❄️
Hi Litsy Fam! 😁 I am hoping to get suggestions on more fantasy books to read! For example, books featuring ice dragons, elemental magic, the FAE, mages etc. Any suggestions? ♥️🤗
This ones is more of a children's tale set in the same universe as Game of Thrones, but it doesn't have the same characters and I think it's a different time period.
It's wonderfully written, the illustrations are beautiful and perfect for capturing the overall feel of it.

I finished this beauty last night! I absolutely love this short tale all about the love of winter and, most importantly, ice dragons 😍💙❄
This was my #bookspin for February, @TheAromaofBooks I'm not sure how it happened, but the numbers drawn for the spin and double spin were for my two shortest books 😂 I won't complain!
#JoyusJanuary #readathon #bookreport

I'm still reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and I'm not thrilled with it. I miss action. Maybe I had expected too much because everyone talk about it and recommend it.
Will try to read #slovenianedition of The Ice Dragon before I go to bed. And tomorrow countinue with Addie.

1. Buy online some new clothes for Leja. She is growing so fast and her pants are almost too short.
2. Popcorn.🍿🍿
3. Early morning or after 8pm, because Leja sleeps then. She always want to take my book and ask me why there aren't any picture inside my book😂

Here is my #bookspin list for January, @TheAromaofBooks ❄📚☃️ This year, I'm getting decorative and I've set up a journal for all my challenges (now, I just need more washi tape & stickers 😅😅) Oh, and I won't be doing bingo this month!
A perfect winter read! In my opinion also a good way to find a way into Martins writing, because you can get a glimspe of his style and his world building, without having to many pages ahead 😉
And the illustrations are amazing!

This F chapter book, written by George R. R. Martin, famous for A Song of Fire (GoT), and illustrated by Yvonne Gilbert. In a world where war is threating young Adara's country and family, this is not the only threat. Adara is different from most, described to be a girl of winter, she finds herself taming the beast that has taken many lives, the Ice Dragon. This is the story of Adara, and the Ice Dragon saved her world. #ucflae3414f19
BEAUTIFUL little tale with superbe illustrations, for both youngsters and adults, about the war and the destruction and changes that it brings.
Still, typically GRRM, I'm not sure if the ending was happy or sad.
Great quick read. Nothing to do with GOT but a cute tale of a winter girl befriending an ice dragon. Sad ending. 3 stars
What a cute little story.
If you want something quick with dragons then definitely pick this one up.
The pictures are beautiful
I haven't read it yet, but this story about girl befriending an ice dragon surely must be great. Illustrations by Lois Royo are adorable! 💙💙💙

Amazing art is by Andrew Ferez!
@Jess_Franzino I could not have asked for a better swap person than you! I absolutely LOVE dragons and to get another person who does also was great luck! Everything you got is just so incredible! The books are ones I've wanted to read, the dragon incense burner is insanely sweet, that mug is my favorite I've gotten for sure! Cinder the dragon TY beanie is so cute! The bracelet and earrings are just plain awesome lol you are incredible, thank you
This was beautifully illustrated. A lovely and sorrowfully sweet read. 💙💙💙💙
I promise I won‘t take pictures of all this illustrations, but these end papers are just too cute! 😍😍😍
A short story about a young girl who was born in the coldest winter & bonds with an ice dragon each winter. A sweet, slightly melancholy read but beautiful all the same. The illustrations are wonderfully done. I read this in an hour and will be passing it along to another GoT fan in the future! #13inthree #readathon #thebookkeepers #bookreview
Gotta love a good book haul day! The tagged book is definitely a #BlameItOnLitsy or I could just blame @kylienoele directly for that one. 😉 And I Capture The Castle is a #BlameItOnLitsy as well, because I‘ve seen so many of you talking about it! 😁💗📚 #BookHaul
Lookie what I picked up this weekend! Excited to read this and maybe pass it along with the #ASwapofIceandFire swap happening soon!!! 😍
Challenge | Day 31
Despite some delays, I'm finishing my third photo literary challenge! I really like this!
Should I join another one??

"...y el calor de sus manos les haría daño." #fin
"A Adara le gustaba el invierno por encima de todas las cosas..." #comenzando
Getting super pumped for GoT ❄️ Look at these endpapers!!
AND my nail polish is called "Game of Chromes" ? This is a very cool little book! I'm glad I finally read this! #WinterisHere
Who amongst you has read The Ice Dragon? 🐉 It's on my TBR, but the illustrations look divine and the story sounds wonderful. I've read Fevre Dream and absolutely adored it. I have Tuf Voyage and this TBR and it made me wonder who else reads Martin's non-ASOIAF books? You don't see much about them in the book community. #epicreads #fantasy #bibliophile #booklover #georgerrmartin
“I have lived a thousand lives and I‘ve loved a thousand loves. I‘ve walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time. Because I read." ***not from this book but from an interview
I can't go to Mobile without stopping at Books A Million! I've been looking everywhere for The Ice Dragon and I got it for 5 bucks! Score!! And of course I had to buy ACOMAF 💁🏼
Next up on the reading list. Ice dragon is pretty short, I actually got through a decent amount of it on audio at one point so I'm going to go ahead and knock that out before moving on to the plucker by brom. Krampus was excellent so I expect this will be too.
Just read this little snack of a story. The illustrations make it even more wonderful.
April TBR! 😀 #aprilbookshowers
Neither of these were in my original plans for this weekend, but I figure if I have to be doped up I need something easy on the reading palate.
#herebedragons Did you know that George R R Martin also wrote a children's book? It still has dragons, of course. This short book has great illustrations and my kids enjoyed it a lot when they were younger. #photoadaynov16
When you can't spell the illustrator's name...
Ist ja schon ein wenig peinlich, wenn der Name im selben Buch einmal richtig und einmal falsch geschrieben ist. 😂
A small late night read...
Wenn man mitten in der Nacht noch ein Buch beginnen will. Glücklicherweise hat es nicht zu viel Konzentration eingefordert.
I loved this! A nice short fantasy story. I immediately got into the story and the illustrations are so beautiful that I stayed on a page for a while after I finished reading it. Though it's geared towards children I think everyone would enjoy this light read. I'd love to read more books like this!
#24in48, I was happy to find some YA by Martin, with illustrations by Luis Royo!
I enjoyed this story of a little girl who feels different from the rest of the world, and her friend the ice dragon.

Survey answers from the website:
I'm reading in Austin TX, this is my first 24in48, and I was most looking forward to this book, because I didn't know Martin wrote YA, and the illustrator is L Royo! I heard about the last 24in48 on FB. I'll be on Litsy all weekend. And something about myself? I love pets and dancing, and of course reading!!!
PS, Litsy sure is slow! Lots of use I suppose!
What a joy to read this little delight 😊 The perfect thing to relish before starting a new book 😊
