THANK YOU for all the awesome hosts & all you fabulous littens for 2023‘s first 6 months of somewhat off & on slumpy reading on my part.
🥂to more #MountTBR demolishing from now to end of year. Can‘t wait to see your numbers @CoverToCoverGirl 🧹🥳🤓📚
Do you what you love this weekend!
Here we go! My stack is tall, but I‘m determined and a few of these are for book groups and library books so I need to finish those. One is an ARC and a couple are loans from my sister and I will see her at the end of the month. Happy reading everyone! ❤️
#AwesomeAprilReadathon
My daughter-in-law recently sent me these special bookmarks that I will treasure always…
My goal is to read as many of my book spin books as possible and I need to read 9 more to make my yearly goal!

“Reading Around New York
Even amid the clamor of a city of millions, New Yorkers have always been able to escape into a good book.”

Full of fabulous black-and-white photos from their archives—back to the 1930s.
All my April Reads. I met quite a few goals and am ready to read mostly a fresh TBR next month. 🥰
Y'all are welcome to use this template if you'd like! 👍
Thanks for the Tag @AlwaysBeenALoverofBooks #SundaySoapBox
📕Don't Call it a Cult

Just a few of my favorites lately
What's yours? @AkashaVampie @Bookworm54 @jb72 @AsYouWish @Mrs_B
Bookriot posted this on Instagram and I couldn't resist stealing it to share here! #readerproblems
Thanks @Andrew65 for another fun readathon.
My goals: Finish The Orchard, read section 3 of The Glittering Hour, and I have 2 arcs...so read at least one and hopefully 2.
#AwesomeApril Readathon
im there...this week has been super hectic and reading for the weekend is a me time im so looking forward to #20in24 #readathon @Andrew65
Joining in on the #JoyousJanuary Readathon! ❄️🎉
I'm hoping to read my #LMPBC book and another book for #FoodandLit I'd also love to start my reread of An Ember in the Ashes series since I got the last book for Christmas.
Thanks for hosting @Andrew65 💕
#WinterSolsticeReadathon and #DashingDecember readathons sound perfect.
I am aiming to:
1) Finish my current physical book (I need some motivation to kick this one)
2) Finish reading A Christmas Carol for #MerryReaders (I'm doing this one on audio)
3) I have two seasonal books I'd also like to read.
No doubt this will get side-tracked by the book shaped presents under the Christmas tree... 😂
Thank you for organising it!

With #24B4Monday complete, I‘m looking ahead to my next readathon, the #CYOReadathon hosted by @Sace Still working on what books I want to read over the 4 days, time wise I‘m setting a daily goal of 8-10 hrs. This will be a great way to kick off #screamathon and #Scarathlon2020 and earn some points for #TeamHarkness.
Well, I‘m calling it. A far cry from #24b4monday but definitely too distracted this weekend to even give attention to my audiobooks. It was fun though! Better luck next month 😁
My ambitious #maytbr for #magicalmay. Some of these will make it into the June TBR too. The bottom one is The Mirror And the Light which cannot be rushed.
Super excited for this weekend‘s #24in48 readathon. Saturday is the “beginning” of tax season so I will have the house to myself! Working on the left hand stack and pulling from the right.
Who else is participating? What are you planning on reading?
Sounds like a good idea to me!
#readinglife #asseeninreallife.
I failed to follow through on my reading challenges last year and really missed it. I exceeded my goodreads goal but don‘t feel like I stretched myself much reading-wise. I‘m going to start out with 4, but if I complete 2 I‘ll consider it a win! #readingeurope2020 @Librarybelle @BarbaraBB #booked2020 @Cinfhen @4thhouseontheleft @BarbaraTheBibliophage
What are your reading goals and/or favorite challenges? Hope you will share them on litsy!
#readinthenewyearswap
I have a stack 😬🤔😳🤣 #mrbook1inamillion #Litsypartyofone #24B4Monday @MrBook
Another reason I love Litsy, I actually have fellow bookworms to talk to now lol
Made good progress on several of my books for #24B4Monday readathon. It was a good day filled with reading, naps, and puppy snuggles.
I‘ve been practising my French a bit on Duolingo when the Arabic lessons feel too difficult and I figured you all might enjoy this as much as I did.
Work has been pretty stressful lately which always means I have less energy to be an active social media participant. In other words, no 7 Covers challenge for this lady after all. I‘m anticipating that things will be back to normal at the end of this week.
📖 ONE book. Based off of how unwell I feel right now, my goal might be just ONE CHAPTER!
📖 I‘m finally going to build a relationship with Louise Penny.
📖 This is my second participation in a Readathon weekend. I guess that I‘m not doing it right, because I haven‘t gathered any snack foods. I am surrounded by lots of cold medications and remedies.
📖 Water...does this sound boring? Today I can‘t read without Kleenex!
📖 Yes! No rules!
“Miss Jane Neal met her maker in the early morning mist of Thanksgiving Sunday.”
#SummersEndReadathon
So happy to discover TWO readathons on Litsy for this weekend and beyond. Second discovery: #SummersEndReadathon. I am sick with a head cold right now, but so excited to try to participate in both wonderful events as long as cold medications don‘t make staying awake impossible.🛏😴💤
I can probably manage only one book. Planning to read a mystery.
I‘m home from work with a head cold. I feel absolutely miserable. I can barely keep my eyes open, BUT I am striving for participation in the #24B4Monday Readathon. The prompt is for books of summer - beaches, vacations and poolside reads. Hopefully a mystery book fits in there somewhere because I need something suspenseful to help me stay awake especially since dosing on cold remedies.🤒🤧😷
I have to have a book with me everywhere I go! 🙋🏻♀️💕
This is 100% spot on for me. I never read one (or two) at a time.
@EpicReads
Wish I had a book right about now.
1. Eclectic, curious, vicarious
2. I posted my beautiful cigar tree in bloom. I love to read in view of this tree.
3. Is it wrong that my first thought was of an evil stepmother? (Not mine, a family member)
4. Anyone else?
1. No zoo in my city. My favorite zoos are The Bronx Zoo and Audubon in New Orleans. I love all of them, but big cats might be my favorites. I have not touched any wild.
Thanks @Avanders ! #wondrouswednesday #thursdaysurvey
I'm brewing up an idea for future TBR lists.
@LibrarianRyan I‘m signed up, more because I am interested in some of the prompts- but I will attempt the challenge. I‘m considering getting and donating the books as I finish them to the free library I run at the clinic where I work, so that could be fun too.
Mood.
