Another fresh slate of a year!! One of my resolutions is to stay off my phone as much as possible and read instead. 🤞🏻 I wish you all a wonderful year full of light and love. Here is my list, which will remain largely unchanged for the #BookSpin challenge. I look forward to this one every year! ☺️ Side note: I read the tagged book in HS and I still remember it fondly. ☺️

Here is me with fresh hair, fresh from the shower, and (most importantly) fresh PJs ready to ring in 2024. I lit some candles and made a charcuterie tray to sit on the couch and celebrate the new year with Ryan Seacrest.

I‘m definitely more low key for NYE, the older I get. I can appreciate a quiet night in, but I also enjoy a fun dress up & go out, just depends on the options and how I‘m feeling. This year I am spending NYE at my friend‘s family cabin, and we will be setting off fireworks later!

I am going out tonight, but it‘s just casual. I was sick earlier in the week so I had resolved myself to staying home & reading, playing videogames maybe watching the D&D movie …& I recovered so now I have to go be an extrovert. I really don‘t mind dressing up but I can‘t/won‘t wear high heels any more
I think multiple NYEs we have stayed in, watched Star Wars & drank Champagne 🤣🥂

A quiet NY eve with my husband and girls. They're old enough now to stay up and enjoy it. Good food, maybe a drink and just spend time together

This year I‘m only making Bookish resolution. I have over 200 unread book and I want to concentrate on reading through these instead of only new books. Plus, I don‘t want to add any more new books to the TBR pile. #bookishresolutions #2021

108 books in 1 year! 8 books past my goal and I am so proud of myself. I‘m excited for 2019 as I will be trying something new. My children will pick a color each month, that month I can only read books of that color or with that color in the title. 🥳

I‘m watching the snow fall and fall and am curled up with The Alice Network under a blanket myself.

Between snowmageddon and #NewYearsReadathon I thought I‘d better lay in some supplies. What sort of snacks are you planning?

1) Read two non-fiction books a month
2) Only read books I own, from the library, or inter-library loan
3) Make 2018 The #yearofthechunkster
4) Limit social media, read instead
5) No new books except on my birthday (in May) or next Christmas.
6) Try out a bullet journal
