I‘ve been looking forward to this for awhile. To say it‘s been hell trying to get treatment my Lyme disease would be an understatement. I‘ve been misdiagnosed and ignored by my family doctor. I‘ve had to seek alternative treatment, which my insurance doesn‘t cover. My tin foil hat has been on for awhile now, so I‘m excited to see what evidence this author provides.

I know I don‘t get to pop on here much anymore thanks to my crazy schedule, but I wanted to pay my respects to Toni Morrison. Sula and Beloved were my first introductions to Black literature thanks to my high school English teachers. Morrison opened a door for me to a world of great books and perspectives that I would have never seen. Rest in Power to a true icon. 💜 #ToniMorrison

I‘m a huge Mötley Crüe fan and I‘ve read The Dirt twice, but the movie version was just so bad. ????

I felt like this was less a biography on Milicent Patrick and more a book on the researching of Milicent Patrick. I feel as if the author had trouble finding out enough about Patrick and ended up inserting more of herself in the book. She uses a ton of unnecessary footnotes, enough to drive me crazy at times. Overall, I did enjoy this book and the feminist message it sends, I just wish it would have had more of the fabulous life of Miss Patrick.

I got a raise today so I celebrated by picking up this new release. 💜

Productive night of much needed housework and now settling down to (finally) finish this one. 🖤

I finally finished this audio book. This book is an important and infuriating case study of the epidemic of rape in Missoula, Montana and how the justice system tends to protect the attackers over the victims. Unfortunately, this victim-shaming mentality isn‘t exclusive to Missoula. So many triggers in this book, but an important topic for everyone.

I‘ve been waiting for this one to come out for awhile. It‘s pretty funny and relate able so far. 😻
