The Witness Tree | 
pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Love it when a debut novel meets or exceeds expectations. It took a few chapters before I became invested in the characters. Although effective in building some suspense especially near the end of a narrative, switching back and forth between protagonists and time periods can hamper pacing. Overall an enjoyable read with lush descriptions and two strong female leads.
