Just started my 1st December 2022 BOTM book.
Just started my 1st December 2022 BOTM book.
Yay! I been blessed with a digital ARC of the new William Landay. #WilliamLanday #ARC #sundayfunday
Great read. Jess is divorcing from her hubby and moving in with her new partner. Since they are are all friends they decide to move in the an attached house and share co-parenting. All is good until it isn't.
So happy to have received this ARC, so good so far. Loving my new book pouf also.
Can't wait to read the new Lisa Jewel!
#BOTM. I've heard so much about this book, can't wait!
Without giving anything away this story was a mystery within a mystery. The book went back and forth between Emily in the present day and Mari in 1974. The Villa has just the right amount of thriller and drama mix.
Thanks to the publisher for an early ARC.
So excited, finally fixed up and organized my bookcase.
Being outside feels so good. Just had homemade chicken tortilla soup, now enjoying a book on my deck. So far this book is so good #BOTM
Just starting this book, excited, I've heard great thing about it!
I loved this book, very twisty.
Set in Australia at Christmas time during a heat wave (their summer is the opposite of countries north of the equator); Gemma is the lead detective in a murder of a beloved local teacher. Gamma also went to High School with the murder victim.
The main character, Henna, was a mess but I still rooted for her.
Loved the ending!
@crazyspine - do you want this book?
Finally starting the #BOTM book. It's from October 2017, I'm somewhat behind on my reading. Looks like a good one!
Lucky me, beautiful day and I'm starting Ruth Ware's newest book, which I heard is amazing!
BFCR2 Wk#6 check-in. 4 out 6 books read (1 was an audiobook). I lost my momentum after I got back from vacation at the end of June. Only made my step goal 1 of 6 weeks. But I've lost weight and can fit in 2 pairs of shorts from last summer. Drinking more water than wine. So small successes. #BOTM

#BFCR2 Wk 5 check-in. Still on my 3rd book, I lost my momentum after I got back from vacation at the end of June. Average weeky 8k step goal, result 6k. No excuses but the life of a work at home techie makes it very hard. On a side note I've lost 11 lbs during this time period so I'm claiming success, lol.

It's been a hard week, back from vacation on Sun; book 2.25 of 6. Back to work on Mon. Got sun poisoning on my lips on vacay. Pain in such a small area but I actually felt very sick. My company was the only company in the US open on Friday, longest day ever, ugh.
Still reading my same book from Saturday. Step average around 6k goal was avg of 8k.
Good news Nine Perfect Stranger is good so far!
Another good #BOTM pick! This book follows 2 young couples from early romance (1970's) to present day. Both husbands are cops in NYC and end up living next to each other in the burbs until a family tragedy devastates both families.
#bookfitnesschallenge2 Book#2 out of #6. My fitness goal is 8k avg steps per day, actual was 7793. Go #teamnewbie @wanderinglynn @laurar311 @crazyspine @WriterAtHeart @BookishBelle @mc916 @jmtrivera @Honeybeegirl
I loved this book! Ihad no idea that it was a translation from Swedish but it was very well done! A "normal" average family has their lives change overnight when the parents get a call that their 18 year old daughter is being held as a murder suspect. #bookfitnesschallenge2 This is book#1 out of #6. Go #teamnewbie @wanderinglynn @laurar311 @crazyspine @WriterAtHeart. @BookishBelle @mc916 @jmtrivera @Honeybeegirl
So excited for my first fitness challenge!
My reading goals are six books and an average of 8000 steps a day (I'll average them each week). I work at home some some days I'm lucky to get in 2000 steps so an average is my best bet. I'm on vacation this week so that will help with the reading goal.
Good luck to everyone on their goals!

First book of my week long vacation. With @crazyspine
Finally starting last month's BOTM selection. I loved Peter Swanson's The Kind Worth Killing, so hoping this is a winner also.
@crazyspine - let me know if you want this when I'm done

Last day in the sunshine. Pool, sunshine and a good book! Tomorrow I'll be wearing my parka again. 👙🌞🌞📘📙📕
The Winter Sister was so good. I started it yesterday and finished it today.
When Slyvie was 13 her 17 year old sister went missing. Three days later she was found dead by strangulation. Slyvie's close relationship with her Mother fell apart after her sister's death. Sylvie left the area when she turned 18. Fast-forward 14 years and she's back home to tend to her dying mother. Will she find closure during the visit? #BOTM #sickday #wintermystery
#BOTM Finally had a minute to open my BOTM boxes and realized that I have not one but two copies of this book so figured I'd read it first.
August Book of the Month picks # BOTM
One of my July BOTM books. It's a gorgeous Sunday in the Philadelphia suburbs, excited to start a new book, enjoy the my beautiful flowers and read on my deck. 🌿📖🌸🌞
Great book! Fifteen years ago, 13 year old Emma attends a ritzy summer camp, only to have all 3 of her cabin mates sneak out and never return. Adult artist Emma returns to now reopened camp as the Art instructor. Of course, she has a hidden agenda and wants to solve the mystery of her friends disappearance.
Just starting this, one of my July Book of the Month books. It has great reviews so I'm excited! I think I have a kidney stone so this should be a great distraction.
Great book! I never heard of it before, found it on Hoopla through my library. So glad that I stumbled across it!
Mark and Erin are on a luxury honeymoon in Bora Bora when they discover something in the water. The newly married couple must decide whether to speak out or hide what they found. Mark lost his job right before the wedding and Erin is self-employed so they have a difficult choice.
Loved it!Great mystery with an early spoiler thrown in early in the book. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the ARC. @crazyspine
Just starting this book, I've heard great things about it! Thanks NetGalley for the ARC😊
#SundayFunday #BookNerd I somehow thought I finished this book but I didn't, first time that has happened to me. Early on-set dementia.
Finally starting this book! Beautiful day on my deck in Pennsylvania.
My current daily work commute audio book. Just my 2nd audio book but loving the "company" that an audio book provides.
My reading buddy for the day. Twin to quirkybookworm's pup. @Quirkybookworm @crazyspine
Left the room and came back to my cat guarding my book, good girl!
