I just started this yesterday and will probably finish it today. I can‘t put it down! Doyle‘s words are honest and empowering. Definitely one I will revisit again and again.
Home from all of our Christmas visits! Hubs has our three boys swimming at the Y. Taking some much needed down time for myself to recharge. 🙂
Reading this book to my sons at bedtime tonight and this page made me laugh out loud! 😉
Like visiting with an old friend for the holidays! Becky Brandon nee Bloomwood is up to her usual antics. Such a fun holiday read!
Enjoying the latest Becky Brandon nee Bloomwood Story. Nice light read as I gear up to do my own holiday shopping! 😉🎄
Picked this up since it is on the longlist for the national book award. I really enjoyed reading about Mads as she figured out who she is and about her family history. Secrets always have a way of coming out.
Super cute middle grade graphic novel! Perfect fall read! 🧙🏻♀️👻🎃
Peanut butter and chocolate flavored treats to snack while I read. Thank you ladies! Love the chocolate, bookmarks and cards! 👻Happy Halloween! 🎃

Pretty gruesome tale that will intrigue even the most reluctant of readers. (With a bit of humor mixed in for comic relief.)😵 Definitely going to check out the rest of the Hazardous Tales.
Week 4 check-in
Much better week than last.
Tracked food 4/7 days
Added in more fruits and veggies to my diet. Funny what going back to work and having to eat what you pack can do for a person. 😉
Books 1 total 6/6
First week back at work turned out to be pretty rough. Looking forward to starting fresh tomorrow. Hopefully the first week with students is a little less busy than this past week.
Congratulations @Megabooks ! What a nice way to celebrate your milestone. 🥳 #25Etsy
#bfcr3 week 2 check-in
Books 5/6
Recorded food on app 5/7
Added in more fruits and veggies-work in progress
I spent a lot of time this week reading and spending time with my favorite people. My exercise and nutrition took a back seat. I did go for a very short run after a yoga session at the resort. It was a fabulous week! Great way to end my summer vacation. Next week I‘ll start fresh!

Cute read! I didn‘t read these as a kid-I was a Sweet Valley Twins fan. I will definitely be adding these to my classroom library. They deal with real life issues and Raina Telgemeire‘s illustrations are fantastic.
Just finished my first Elin Hilderbrand book. It was the perfect beach read for my beach vacation. I loved the characters and their family dynamics, the time period is also a favorite. My favorite aspect of the book was the use of song titles instead of chapter numbers. A kind of soundtrack as you read the story.
book 5/6 #bfcr3
It was a late night last night. Getting lots of reading in while the rest of my family snoozes. 😴😊 This is my first Elin Hilderbrand book. I‘m loving it so far!
Trying to finish a few more middle grade/YA novels before students start in just under two weeks. Tagged book is fantastic so far.
Book 2/6 #bfcr3
Cute story about three young girl friends set in 1975. Kate DiCamillo doesn‘t disappoint with the cast of characters she introduces you to in this story.
Week 1 check-in
Crazy week packing for vacation, planning and executing my son‘s 7th birthday party and traveling 10 hours to the beach. I still managed to run 8 miles and finish 2 audiobooks, in addition to recording everything I ate.
Looking forward to relaxing this coming week and working on making some dietary changes! Thanks team #namastepositive! Such a positive and encouraging group! Lucky to be a part of this team!

Ready for #BFCr3!
week 6: Final check-in for #BFCr2
📖 15/15
🏃🏼♀️ 8/8
+ 🧘♀️2/0
Without this challenge, I may not have moved as much as I did these last 6 weeks. Being accountable has been very helpful! Looking forward to BFCr3!
Thanks #newbies #dreamers for keeping me motivated!
Glad I brought my book to Legoland today. My husband makes fun of me for bringing a book everywhere I go. Waiting out the storm in the car after a fun filled day with my boys.
Week 5 check in
My kids were on vacation with their grandparents and cousins this week. I was able to get a lot of things done around the house as well as plenty of exercise and reading. Going to bump up my reading goals again to 15 books by the end of next week.
Books read 13/13
Miles-8/8 🏃🏼♀️

Week 5 photo challenge
My favorite type of exercise is yoga. It‘s good for me both physically and mentally. This morning I was able to take a class on the rooftop of my local Whole Foods. It was great to take my practice outside!

I‘ve been reading a lot of YA and middle grade lit gearing up for this school year. This is by far the best one I have read all summer! It‘s the true story of Sophie Scholl and the White Roses. It‘s written in verse, which I love and is an easy sell to my students. If you like reading about WWII or brave young women, check this out!
Week 4 #BFCr2 check-in
Fitness: 🏃🏼♀️ran 8/8 miles
Books: 📚 read 10/7
I was afraid I wouldn‘t meet a higher reading goal, but I am happy to report that I‘ve surpassed it in week 4. I‘ll alter this for the challenge. New goal:13 books!
#teamnewbies #dreamers
#nomakeupnofilter photo challenge
I don‘t normally wear makeup, so this was an easy one.

Not big into Twitter, so I‘m a little bit late to the party on this book. Loving Lin-Manuel‘s morning/night pep talks! This is my favorite one so far!
Week 3 check-in: Almost finished with this one. 100 pages to go. Didn‘t quite meet my fitness goal; ran 6 miles this week. My schedule was off and it just didn‘t happen. Next week will be better! Did not finish any books this week, so I am still at 5/7. My reading is coming along. Thank you summer break!
”It‘s like some of us are chasing after our nightmares the way other people chase dreams.”
Week 2 complete!
Met my fitness goal of running 8 miles. Added in a rooftop yoga session this morning. Also got in 10,000 steps today for #LitsyWalkAThon.
Read 5/7 books already! We‘ll see what week three has in store. Loving this challenge! #bfcr2 #newbies #dreamers
Just started this book tonight. I‘m so excited to finally read Daisy Jones!
Excellent story about tolerance as told from the perspective of Red, an oak tree with 216 rings. This may be a front runner for the first first-chapter Friday of the 2019-2020 school year.
“And real life, like a good garden, is messy.”
I didn‘t want this book to end! The story wasn‘t quite what I expected. I loved the main character, Eleanor!
Listened to this over the last week. I like when a book is written from multiple perspectives. Lots of plot twists!
Reading in a beanbag while this cutie plays! Love my summer afternoons.
