After a coffee, yogurt and doggy cuddles, I started in on some cleaning. Cleaned the floors on the main level, ran the vacuum upstairs. Taking a short break then off to clean the master bath. So exciting. NOT! At least I have an audiobook to keep me company. Later, I am off to get horsey cuddles, then a late lunch with my barn buddies.

1. The flowers at the office are blooming away.
2. My neighbor's roses, that I can see from my back, are going crazy this year.

4. The puppy found the door stop. He had me in stitches. He figured out that he could touch it with his paw and it made noise. Then he would jump back and bark at it.

I made this template on the computer and printed it out. I'm going to try it out for May and see if I like it better than the handwritten one I normally use. I still love the tactical nature of writing.

pickSo this one is a low pick for me. While I liked the characters, it needed a stronger plot. This book is all about the smut. Which is OK, but I need a good plot to go along with it. 1️⃣ I remember my Mom would boil water and add cinnamon sticks when the house got dry in the winter. I especially loved it around the holidays. Now, cinnamon always makes me think of Christmas and family visits.
2️⃣ I remember sitting in my Dad's lap and poking him when he nodded off while reading to me. It is one of my first memories.

I love Douglas's writing style and how she develops the characters. This book certainly fits in that description of great plot and characters. My only miff with this one is the ending dragged. There was a point about 7/8 thru that would have made a better ending. Still enjoyed despite this. 4🌟 #Read2025 @DieAReader
