pickWhat can I say about this #cultclassic that hasn‘t been covered in other reviews? Only, I suppose, that I spent the last two days reading this book in a frenzy and now that I have finished it I feel rather hollow and lost. By the time the novel came to a close I wished there was more so that I could keep reading, not something I often say about books over 500 pages. It was a profoundly moving and haunting book that I won‘t forget any time soon.

Discovered that the library system one county over does not have a ratings cap on DVDs like ours does so I‘m finding all kinds of gems there. Watching this one now.

I'm way behind, so I'm hitting several prompts with one post. My favourite #dark #fantasy series are Donaldson's Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, and Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone. I think each series could be considered a #cultclassic. Both anti-heroes are #criminals in some sense, with #family issues and #dreams of #revenge, although each deals with his problems in very different ways. #NoteworthyNovember

If this book isn‘t a Cult Classic it should be. Brilliantly weird, very fun read. I have a couple more books by Tom Robbins on my shelf waiting to be read. One day!

A favorite from my college days. This story always made me want to take a road trip and in the summer of 2001 I took that road trip and I drove cross country, LA to NYC.
