Four more for #LitsyAtoZ!
#LetterE - Emily Climbs is the 2nd in the Emily trilogy by L.M. Montgomery. I‘ve never read the Anne books but liked these.
#LetterJ - Jazz Funeral - set in New Orleans- this is a fun murder mystery series full of local color.
#LetterP and #LetterQ - Princess Elizabeth‘s Spy and The Queen‘s Accomplice - this WWII spy series tests credibility at times but I‘m invested in the characters and am liking these.
24/26
I was excited to get this #bookmail yesterday - I won a Goodreads giveaway! Thanks @WilliamMorrowBooks for the opportunity to read this.
Up to 20 for this year‘s #LitsyAtoZ!
#LetterN - Now May You Weep - I must not be the only one new to this series because every time I try to check out the next one, there‘s a wait.
#LetterO - One Small Sacrifice - the first one of what looks like a good series revolving around an NYPD detective.
#LetterV - The Vanishing Stair - the second of three revolving around murders in the past and present at a boarding school.
⬇️
I just got back from a strange weekend in NYC to find this #bookmail! Thanks, @WilliamMorrowBooks for the Instagram giveaway. I‘m excited to read this while I socially distance.
This one and Still Life are on their way to you, @ferskner ! #whodunitthesequel
Good grief that picture is awful. It‘s from the package drop at the post office.
1. Definitely!
2. I love this crazy cozy series!
3. Online - mostly the New York Times app
4. All 3! It depends on the day.
5. Beat you to it this time, @Karkar !
#friyayintro
1. I mostly use the library (and my kindle). If I buy a physical book, I‘ll keep it.
2. Usually a couple days
3. Tagged. Yeah yeah, she had issues, he had issues, and there was always Camilla. Over and over again.
#wondrouswednesday
#friyayintro on Saturday! Happy weekend!
1. Just the one

More #LitsyAtoZ for me!
#LetterA - And Justice There Is None - this is a great series that‘s coming in handy for this challenge.
#LetrerC - The Current - suspenseful and super good!
#LetterD - Dreaming of the Bones - back to that Deborah Crombie series
#LetterR -The Right Sort of Man - a marriage bureau in post WWII London. One of their clients is murdered, and her potential match is the suspect. Our heroines have to solve the crime!
❤️ Strong dislike!
🧡 Stay in
💛 Flowers - I bought them myself!
💚 Armand & Reine-Marie Gamache
#friyayintro
More #litsyatoz!
#LetterB - The Bookshop of Yesterdays- not a bad read
#LetterF - A Finer End - I‘m really liking the Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James series by Deborah Crombie
#LetterI - I‘ll Be Gone in the Dark - One Woman‘s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer - so creepy, but really the best non-fiction I‘ve read.
#LetterK - Kissed A Sad Goodbye - another Deborah Crombie
Happy Groundhog Day!
Four more for #LitsyAtoZ!
#LetterG -A Gentleman in Moscow - I‘m not sure why I didn‘t like this book when I started it the first time - it was great!
#LetterH - The House of Silk - also good
#LetterM - The Mysterious Bakery on the Rue de Paris - a fun read
#LetterS - Sanditon - all 12 chapters. I can‘t wait to watch this on Masterpiece.
Sorry this is late - I got distracted by the holidays. It‘s coming your way, @ferskner ! #whodunitthesequel
Here‘s my 2019. I was not great with the challenges, but got a lot of reading done!
I re-read The Wicked City so I‘d be ready for this. I‘m not yet halfway through it (and loving it!), and now I‘m ready to re-read both Cocoa Beach and Along the Infinite Sea. I love the connections she makes with the characters from book to book. #beatrizbinge??
Look! I won a goodreads giveaway! Thanks @WilliamMorrowBooks ! Now it‘s time to reread The Wicked City.
I liked this, but maybe not as much as her others. It seemed to move more slowly. But, still very good!
1. I like seeing what people are reading, and many of the pictures you guys take are amazing! I‘m not creative at all; mostly what you get from me are pictures of my kindle screen.
2. I‘m honestly not interested in the pet photos (#unpopularopinion, I know! 🤷♀️)
3. I saw another comment about a favorites list - that would be nice.
4. Not as often as I used to. I mostly only post when I‘m participating in a challenge.
👇🏻
I‘m not doing so well at this challenge (and a few others), but here‘s #WestVirginia. I did like this book - the story was engrossing and the descriptions of the WV scenery were terrific. #ReadingUSA2019
1. That was a tough one. I read a bunch of good books in September.
2. Light blue. A sweatshirt FINALLY!
3. I saw the musical Come from Away. It was SO SO SO good!
4. Can I whistle? Not really, no. I can snap my fingers though!
5. ❤️❤️
Thanks for the tag, @howjessreads ! #friyayintro
1. Sort of so-so. 23/26 for #LitsyAtoZ - I still need x, y, and z - help! 35/50 for ReadingUSA2019, and I‘ve sort of faded on #Booked2019. 169/200 for GR challenge.
2. My favorite exercise is water aerobics. Is that a fun fact? It was the first thing I thought of.
3. 70‘s classic rock
4. Wedding in September
5. 😀👍🏻✋🏻✋🏻

@JenlovesJT47 want to play?
This was so good! I read it in a sitting. Maddie leaves her husband and aspires to be a reporter, but the story she follows and the actions she takes have terrible consequences. #ReadingUSA2019 #Maryland
This is the 12th in the Murder by Month series. They‘re cozies set in small town #Minnesota, and are full of fun, quirky characters. The main character, Mira, comes to town to house and pet sit for a friend and manages to stumble across a dead body every month. #ReadingUSA2019 This puts me at 35/50 and it‘s definitely getting harder to find good books!
A young woman returns to #Mississippi to uncover what happened the night her father was killed. It‘s a good read - it really draws you into the heat and humidity and the racism that was the Mississippi delta. #ReadingUSA2019
This was an odd sort of rom-com, and just kind of okay. But it was a short read, and set in Jackpot #Nevada. #ReadingUSA2019. I do like the cover
1. Runaway Bride
2. 122 - maybe I need to purge a few?
3. I used to play 1010 but had to delete it. Lately I‘ve been playing Tiles inside the N.Y. Times app. These games are ridiculously addictive.
4. Litsy, Goodreads for fun, Starbucks for caffeine, and my grocery store has an app called Scan, Bag, Go. It‘s been a long time since I stood in a checkout line.
5. Everybody play!
#wondrouswednesday
Book #7 for #cozyinthesun. I‘m going to be reading the rest of this series for sure! Thanks for the buddy read, @Librarybelle and @ferskner !
Book #6 for #cozyinthesun. This is one of my favorite historical settings - between the wars in England. The mystery in this one was just okay- I figured out the culprit early on. I love the characters though! And the covers are wonderful. (At least this cover that I got from goodreads is!)
This is the second book in this series, so I may have needed to read the first one. Cash is a Native American who seems to have a sixth sense or something- in this book a couple of girls are kidnapped and she uses that sense to rescue them. Good but I‘m not sure I‘d read another. #ReadingUSA2019 #NorthDakota (this would also work for Minnesota as they go back and forth)
I love this series set in 1975 Kansas City. The MC is an artist and a widow (details I book 1) who lives in the Country club district. It‘s probably got something to do with my age, but the details in these books are perfect and if murder can be fun, these are. #ReadingUSA2019 #Missouri #cozyinthesun
Book #4 for #cozyinthesun. It‘s the 4th in the series and I think I like this one best. The ghost is snarky and funny and the rest of the characters are fun.
I like this series a lot - the MC is running her family‘s Chinese restaurant and the murders happen in the shopping center where the restaurant is. This is #3 in the series and they‘re fun! Also, #ReadingUSA friends, if you need #Ohio, these are set in Cleveland. #CozyInTheSun
