Fresh from solving her third mystery-and saving Dunmullach's firstborn males from a vengeful ghost-Gethsemane Brown's ready to relax and enjoy her summer. Her plans include nothing more dangerous than performing in the opening ceremony of the annual rose and garden show and cheering on Frankie Grennan, who's entered his hybrid rose into the competition. But when a mysterious stalker starts leaving Frankie floral bouquets as coded messages, Gethsemane fears a copy-cat may be planning to recreate the still-unsolved murders of the infamous Flower Shop Killer. Then Frankie's main competitor in the rose show-and the reason his marriage failed-turns up dead in Frankie's rose garden. Frankie takes first prize in the category "prime suspect". So much for a relaxing summer. As bodies start dropping like rose petals, Gethsemane must judge the other suspects and find the real killer. Or rose bushes won't be the only things dead-headed in Dunmullach.

I finished up both Fatality in F and What the Cat Dragged In on my walk today. Both books rank among my favorites in their respective series. With Cat, after 14 books, it turns out there are still surprises with Charlie and new things to learn. With Fatality, the story was just really interesting. #audiowalk

Jenny Lawson‘s Broken was acting up on my walk so I started Fatality in F instead. One of the things I like about this series is that the people in the village actually comment on the fact that there have been more murders in their town since Gethsemane arrived, and some view her as having brought bad luck to the town. This rarely happens in cozy mysteries. #audiowalk

While all of my recent reads were interesting, Gethsemane‘s latest adventure was my favorite. Loved all the information Gordon planted into the story about gene therapy, flowers, orphan drugs, floral messages, and flower shows, as well as the information on music and Negro League stats. As usual, her friends Eamon, Frankie, and Niall were on hand to help. This is definitely one of my favorite cozy mystery series.

The tagged is up next. I‘m trying to pace myself and not rush through this series. Absolutely loving it and trying to stretch it out and make it last!

Liatrek I wish I had restraint but I burned through this series❤️ Loved everything about these book! 4y
SW-T @Liatrek I‘m making myself read other books in between or I‘d have finished already! Restraint is hard when you find a great series! 😂😂😂 4y

This book was so much fun! Gethsemane Brown is my new favorite cozy mystery series. We got see Gethsemane, Frankie and Niall friendship grow as they worked to clear Frankie of murder charges. Once again we had new interesting characters and a solid mystery to solve. I can‘t wait to read the next one.

Book #4 for #cozyinthesun. It‘s the 4th in the series and I think I like this one best. The ghost is snarky and funny and the rest of the characters are fun.

Librarybelle Looks good! 5y
ferskner I've seen these popping up a lot! 5y
