@MaleficentBookDragon Rachel and I should be mailing ours either tomorrow or Tuesday 😊
The Sisters Brothers were famous headhunters in the Oregon/California area. The book follows Eli and Charlie as they hunt down Hermann Warm. Warm is a chemist and pioneer during the California gold rush. The story contained action, comedy, and heartbreak with a satisfying ending. I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for an exciting Western. 🔫🕵
Half way through this book and I am loving it! 🤓
I just finished The Tower of Swallows and it was amazing! As some of you know I'm working my way through the Witcher series and I'm absolutely loving it and highly recommend it to anybody who enjoys fantasy. The Tower of Swallows focuses primarily on Ciri, Geralt's adopted daughter, who is struggling to survive after being seperated from Geralt.
My wife @Rachel.Rencher spoiled me for my birthday! I've been loving The Witcher series and I can't wait to continue it! 🐺📚🤓
Just finished the third book in the Witcher series with help from Winston! In my opinion the Witcher series just keeps getting better with every book. In Baptism of Fire Geralt assembles an eclectic group of misfits and tries to hunt down Ciri, his adopted daughter. The story had me constantly laughing at the group's banter, as well as sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. I highly recommend it! 🐺📚🤓
The Witcher books are amazing! I hate when series start to die down as they go on, but I really love this one. I knew the bullet points of the storyline from playing the video games, but the books are even better. 🤓
@Rachel.Rencher told me to read this one because she loved it so much in high school. It took a while for me to feel invested in the story, but the ending was intense. 😱
I love how H.G. Wells' writing makes his stories seem plausible. Also, shout out to Kindle for having all of these public domain books loaded on here. I needed something to read while I waited for my books to come in from Amazon, and this was perfect! 😆
I have recently finished the first book in the Witcher series and I loved it! My wife @Rachel.Rencher suprised me with the first three books for Christmas. I was so excited because I've been having the hardest time finding a copy translated into English. So if there's any fans out there of the Witcher video games, I highly recommend for you to give it a read. 📚🤓
Recently finished The Circle and it was amazing! The story follows Mae Holland as she starts working for the Circle which is a combination of Facebook, Google, and Amazon all in one. At first everything seamed like a dream come true until you understand what the Circle truly is. The book is fast paced and has a chilling modern 1984 feel to it. 💻📚🤓
I've recently finished The Fault In Our Stars and it was amazing!!! I laughed, I cried, and I didn't want it to end. I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a cute but sad love story and a good cry! 📚😭
Finished Of Mice and Men and I absolutely loved it! I was impressed by how quickly you became attached to the main characters, George and Lenny. The story was full of friendship, foreshadowing, and tragedy. If you have yet to read it I highly recommend it, or if you're like me that read in high school and was not impressed, I highly recommend for you to reread it. 🐰📚🤓
I'm excited to reread Of Mice and Men. The last time I read it was back in high school before I had an appreciation for literature. 📚🤓
The Illiad is by far the oldest piece of literature I have read and I loved it. The Illiad is told by Homer as if he was there first hand at the battle of Troy. It felt like I was sitting around a fire being told about the gods interfering with humans as well as the mighty Achilles. I highly recommend it to anybody interested in mythology and history.
So excited to start The Illiad! 📚🤓
My wife couldn't wait any longer to give me my Christmas presents so I opened them early! She knows me so well I can't wait to read these!!! 📚🤓🎅
I loved Artemis so much that I couldn't wait to start The Martian! 👽
I was in the mood for a good science fiction book, and so far I am loving this one! 130 pages in and this is a great book.
The characters in It were really well done and overall it had a really good story, but I think King could have taken at least 400 pages out. Is there an abridged version? (Need a new copy anyway because this one is on its last leg 😅)
I Just finished Journey To The Center Of The Earth. It evolved a eccentric geological professor, his assistant nephew, and a guide try to descend into a Icelandic volcano to find the center of the earth. It was a fun read overall but dragged a bit in places and had a overall disappointing ending. But if you're a fan of Jules Verne or if you're looking for a classic science fiction store check it out. What's your favorite Joules Verne story? 🤔
I'm about a third of the way through Journey To The Center Of The Earth and so far I'm loving it, what were your guy's thoughts? 🤔
I haven't posted in forever but I'm back! I just finished The Anomaly and it immediately caught my attention as a BOTM choice about a mysterious cave in the Grand Canyon. I have to say I really enjoyed the book...it was different than I was expecting, but it worked. My favorite part of the book would be the character development. At first they seemed very cookie cutter, but they definitely grow on you leaving a lasting impact.
I just started American God's and so far I'm loving it! What did you guys think of it? 🤔
I absolutely loved this book! I'm so glad that I've finally read it! Also Lupin was right chocolate always makes it better! 🤓📚☇
So excited to start Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! ☇📚🤓
As a huge fan of mythology I was really excited for this book. But I had no idea how great it would be! I loved the stories about Thor and Loki. Neil Gaiman made the stories come to life, it felt like I was sitting next to a fire listening to stories of the gods. I can't recommend this book enough it was that good! ☇📚🤓
I just finished The Chamber of Secrets and it was amazing! I can't believe that I hadn't already read it. ☇📚🤓
