Etty comes from a long line of vampire hunters. She‘s been training since she was a toddler. She‘s mistakenly identified a boy in her class as a vampire before so when Dimi, with all the hallmarks of a vampire comes to class she doesn‘t tell her mother for fear she is wrong. Dimi is way too kind to be a vampire. But her mom has told her all vampires are evil. Should she entrap him, or let him help save her mom when she‘s kidnapped by vampires? ⬇️

This #PictureBook has a great message—never give up and anyone can succeed, no matter size or strength. Cena adds humor to the speech bubbles of the various trucks. I was actually surprised by how much I liked this one. #BBRC #LetterE

BethM Our library only has one of these in the middle of the series :- 4mo
Librarybelle @BethM I didn‘t realize it was a series! 4mo
LibrarianRyan I liked these books. I could see John Cena reading them to kids. These are so much better then Dale Earnhart Jr.s books. 4mo

Aaron Falk has gone to Marralee to undertake his being named godfather for a close friend‘s baby. The event was postponed after a woman disappeared a year beforehand at the annual wine festival. Everyone in this close community wanted to find the woman, and Falk, a Melbourne investigator, inadvertently started following the clues to find her. Third and last in this series, I have come to realize that Harper always has an unexpected twist and ⬇️

Texreader this book was no different. I especially liked how surprising the ending was because it demonstrated well how normal someone can be to the outside world, but quite destructive within a family. #authoramonth #Australia #readingOceania #serieslove2024 (book 3) and #letterE #litsyatoz

With a calm, flowing text, this #PictureBook bio looks at Edward Hopper and his somewhat slow rise to fame in the art world. I really like the illustrations complementing Hopper‘s actual works as the text describes Hopper‘s life and feelings. Bio and bibliography at the end provide more in-depth info on Hopper and his works. #BBRC #LetterE

JamieArc I recently read the tagged book of short stories where the author chose a Hopper painting and wrote a story inspired by it. Some were great, some were meh, BUT it was so fun to keep flipping to the painting, copied at the beginning of the story, to see what was being referenced. 1y
