First book of the year now read! Yahoo!! Enjoyed this addition to the Interstellar Brides series. Not my favorite in the series but good. I enjoyed that this book introduced a new planet into the mix. It was nice to shake things up a bit. Of course, there was plenty of sexy aliens and some drama to help the...

TheSpineView ..plot move along. The author introduced another Warlord in the book. So hopefully there will be a book about him. I am parcel to the beasts' stories in this series. Commander Zeus also had a small part in the book. Solid addition. 4 ⭐ 16h
Andrew65 Always good to get that first book under your belt. Well done 🥳🥳🥳 15h

Starting this one today as I cannot find my copy of the 3rd book in the Strike series, Career Of Evil. I‘ll probably get a few chapters in of this before stumbling over that! I‘ve also lost my beautiful edition of Death On The Nile so I‘ll be tearing apart my library again soon. Great start to the year, which I HOPE is not a bloody omen.🫣 #JumpStart2025

‘Grimoire Girl is a tribute to reaching inward, honoring the magic that lives in all of us.‘

This is one of those books I just felt drawn to. I loved reading this. It was entertaining, a little touching, and she throws in a lot of great witchy tips.

Last book for #WinterGames2024, first book of 2025.

Starting this book tonight for #BookedInTime . My goal is to get at least half way through by the end of the weekend. Have a couple of appointments for the kids tomorrow and they have swim class Saturday - but other than that it will be a relaxing weekend before the chaos of real life starts again on Monday!

Book 1 finished for #2025 #Read2025 #JumpStart2025

Finally got to this book, which was an excellent read. At times it really annoyed and upset me with what happened to her. Frightening to think we haven‘t moved on enough on this, and now in 2025 seem to be in reverse! 😡

Elizabeth was such a great character. Also what a character 6.30 was.

Bk1 of #JumpStart2025 & January is done! Bk2 of the Strike series, it‘s honestly one of the goriest murders I‘ve ever read. And I‘ve read a LOT. The author has definitely proved they can write well in two completely different genres! And is able to spring a surprise murderer on you at the end. #FourFoursIn25 #RobinBobbin #ISpyBingo #FictionalTraveler #Read2025 #WickedWords #Rage #SeriesLove2025 #BookspinBingo #BookChain2025 #TBRTarot #ReadYourKobo

bookandbedandtea I read this a few years ago and still think about that murder scene sometimes. 😬 2d

#OutWithTheOldInWithTheNew #20in4 #JumpStart2025 #Read2025

My first finished book of 2025, I‘ve not read any Haig before but it was the book pick for the #OnceUponABookClub “Up All Night” box & came with a champagne glass, the #OUABC 2025 40 Book Challenge poster & 3 gifts that correspond to the story. I have some mixed thoughts about the book—I liked it but it took a while to get into & the magical realism was too heavy-handed for my taste. ⬇️

DebinHawaii … Still, it was an interesting story & I liked Grace, the MC, the Ibiza setting & much of the messaging on humanity, grief & living life, so in the end it gets a pick. I also really liked the playlist included: https://open.spotify.com/track/2A6yzRGMgSQCUapR2ptm6A?si=PvbQFNIhRHu91lqYLnQ2Jw more so than the gifts which were a bit meh. (Although the wrap & presentation was lovely). (edited) 2d
Lizpixie Matt Haig is always a bit navel-gazing about the meaning of life I think. The setting sounds amazing though. Well done on your first book of 2025!🎉 2d
Andrew65 I wouldn‘t definitely recommend The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Well done 🥳🥳🥳 2d
