Ok friends- these are books I‘m interested in- thanks to @mabell I own the tagged- but I ordered the others- because I developed this passion from exposure to you three (tbh especially Elizabeth) so my collection is growing. If none of these suit I‘m happy to order something else.

Tamra @Chrissyreadit I want to read this one! 2y
mabell Love that you love Heyer too! ❤️❤️❤️ Having said that, I also really want to read Old Herbaceous 🤣 2y
Chrissyreadit @mabell doesn‘t it sound just fun? 2y
quirkyreader Yea, another person in the Heyer snare. 2y
julieclair Old Herbaceous sounds like a hoot! But it‘s hard to resist a Heyer. I would enjoy any of these, but I guess my top 2 choices would be Old Herbaceous and Friday‘s Child. 2y
TheAromaofBooks I've read These Old Shades recently (and it wasn't my favorite haha) but I am up for any of the other Heyer books. Old Herbaceous also sounds fun!! It's hard to choose books for this group!! 😂 2y
Chrissyreadit I think Old Herbaceous is it. 2y
julieclair Yay for Old Herbaceous! Also... if you want to hold on to my copy of Darling Buds of May and just include it in the package when you send Herbaceous, that's fine with me, and will save on postage. @TheAromaofBooks suggested this to me and I thought it was a great idea! 😃 2y
TheAromaofBooks Yay!! I'm looking forward to this one!! 2y

It‘s time for another Georgette Heyer!

I‘ve frequently seen people pick this as a favourite of her books. Let‘s see…

Aimeesue Well, isn't he fancy! Lovely cover! (edited) 2y
LeahBergen @Aimeesue Yes, it was noted that he has a finely shaped leg. 😆 2y

February #RoaringWolf reading challenge.Bit late but not update a romance challenge? Impossible! This list is in a combination of my husband's absolutely perfect handwriting, and my far more average one!!
The genre I love in general is countries on the cusp of dramatic change, and Free is one of the best I've read

Great fling back to a Regency Romance! Just a fun book to relax with after reading so many serious books.

This book was exactly what I needed. A regency romance that was laugh out loud funny and had enough adventure to keep it interesting. I'll definitely be checking out more of Georgette Heyer's work.

Hour 18 challenge: romance. My first introduction to romance was my mum‘s Georgette Heyer collection. I‘ve read these all so many times I‘ve lost count. Regency is still my favourite but I have branched out as well. #24in48

YouBookMe I adore Georgette Heyer! Just did a reread of Devil‘s Cub. 5y

Finished this #netgalley book this morning.
I really loved this story about two protagonists, who couldn't be more different.
One man, who thinks he's the greatest man in the world & one woman who doesn't want to live her life like the society wants her to. These two & some other characters entertain us in such a great manner that I had to think, why haven't't I read a book from her before, since I love Jane Austen's novels? 😊 #skandalimballsaal

Moray_Reads I have fallen in love with Georgette Heyer this year. She's my go-to light reading author. My favourites so far are Venetia and Arabella but I've enjoyed all of them 6y
Sarah83 @Moray_Reads I will have a look for some more 💖😍 6y

I‘ve been enjoying SYLVESTER on audio for the last two days, as I do a bunch of housecleaning / projects. Decided to grab my old paperback copy to read one chapter in print while I eat my lunch! 🙂 #georgetteheyer

Lreads Georgette Heyer is wonderful! I listen to her books on audio, too. They are like comfort reads. 6y
LeahBergen 💕💕💕 6y
wordslinger42 Is Richard Armitage the narrator for this? He did Venetia on Audible, so I wondered if he'd done more of her books! 6y

Phoebe might be my new favorite Heyer heroine - she loves horses, writes novels, and is consistently rude to the duke, which of course causes him to fall madly in love with her.

Georgette Heyer is one of those novelists I reread over and over again. While never matching Jane Austin, she is certainly the best Austin substitute on the market. Regency romance at its wittiest and most romantic.

Don't tell anyone, but sometimes when I read Georgette's books like Sylvester I find myself wondering if she is not even BETTER than Jane Austen. I know, I know...tantamount to heresy but the quirky, mutinous, novelist heroine and the wicked Uncle Sylvester may change even your mind.
