It's getting to be that time of year when seniors are dropping off grad photos...and today this lovely mug from a student I taught for one semester. This is a kid who was sitting in my regular grade 10 class and was so clearly smarter than me that I did everything in my power to push him into AP English...which he did. ❤️

I finally officially finished this trilogy 😊 I thoroughly enjoyed it and I‘m sure I‘ll continue to reread in the years to come. There were some plot twists near the end that I didn‘t see coming and like most dystopian stories the ending was ambiguous, but that makes it all the more enjoyable. I will fondly think of Cia and Tomas as I go about my life and look forward to the adaptation movie or tv series Netflix will be producing 😊

And the last book in the trilogy 😊 I actually haven‘t read this yet😢I‘ve reread books 1 and 2 multiple times and lost steam every time I‘ve tried to read the 3rd😢 This time I will finish it 😊

Not much reading as my amazing goddaughter graduated high school- her cap! So proud!

This is the longest I‘ve ever been away from Litsy. You may not have missed me but boy have I missed you all! It‘s been graduation time at my house and I haven‘t had time to even think about reading. I finished up all of my grading and my niece, Rayna, graduated from middle school this evening. All in all, it's been a pretty successful day.

Not strictly a reading post but without a whole lot of reading I could not do want I do. Today was a special graduation day. This has been one of my favorite cohorts and my first undergrad researcher going to grad school for microbiology. I am blessed to do what I do!! #collegeprofessor #graduation #microbiology

After a tough couple of years, my sister graduated today with first class honours in environmental science! She also won the academic prize for best performance.

Most likely to die before reading even 10% of the tbr pile.

The third and Final book in The Testing trilogy. Cia is back at it again. After surviving the Test as well as Initiation, she must keep a watch out because not all is well. Yet. Many twists and turns. Must read.

I loved how they ended the series. I was seriously on a woah status most of it. The ending of the book. Not so much. Really typical .
