It's been a long time, Litsy. It's good to be back! Reading Welcome to Night Vale because I love the podcast so much.

Audibly screamed and almost started bawling during this amazing ending to the Infernal Devices trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story of Tessa, Will, and Jem and couldn't be happier with the outcome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pretty good first book. I enjoyed the characters and the plot ideas, but sometimes I thought it dragged on at some points. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ overall, but I cannot wait for the next installment of Jamie Watson and Charlotte Holmes.
Spending New Year's Eve with a good book and my favorite companion. 🐱📚
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. They do get better and better as the series go on! Probably my favorite thing about this book was how Henry's character changed. He rose to the occasion and became a much better character in my eyes. Him and Charlotte's relationship is so cute. And omg I thought I was going to die when Jem proposed. I didn't think that would happen, to be honest. Overall, fabulous read. 😋👍🏻
Oh. My. God. I cannot even begin to fathom my emotions towards this book. It was heart-stopping, it was upsetting, and all around a tragic story. The different perspectives made me think about each side of the event and what it would be like to be in each. This really made me think. I was hooked and I couldn't stop reading. I am glad to have picked this up. Now I have a new perspective on these types of events.
Honestly, this is so good and heart stopping so far. Only 70 pages in and I'm hooked.
Oh my gosh I love Nicola Yoon. Her diverse stories about love, fate, and destiny make me so happy (and a little bit upset too, but for good reasons). This one was absolutely amazing. My favorite part of this were the little histories of everyone and certain things. I thought that added a lot of enjoyment to reading this.
Just as wonderful, maybe even a bit more, the second time around! Now, onto Glass Sword. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
This wasn't my favorite book, but I did enjoy some aspects of it. I wished I could've seen some different ways they could've used Alexa's disguise as a man in a new way. What way that is Im not entirely sure, buy definitely something other than what happened. I will probably read the next one just to see what happens after Damian becomes king.
Wow. This was probably one of the darkest books I've read, and I've read a lot of them. Adelina went down a hole of madness that I'd never thought she would go down. Everything was astounding. I am still in shock from this gorgeously written book. The addition of Magiano (my love) and the other characters really made the story enjoyable for me.
This was my first book by Kendare Blake and I was very impressed. The whole story had me hooked, except for a part in the middle where it got kind of slow, but otherwise I was thoroughly pleased. The whole plot twist at the end killed me. I'm still speechless. Amazing!
I tried to read this a few times before now and I could never get into it, but I finished within twenty four hours when I got past the 50 page mark. This was one of those books I couldn't put down. The whole story was amazing, the plot, characters, scene descriptions, everything! I highly enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read the sequel.
I really enjoyed this book. This was my first Richelle Mead read and I loved her writing, plot, and characters. I hope the next book is as good as this one.
I loved this start to the Infernal Devices trilogy. Can't wait to buy and read the rest at some point in the near future!
I laughed, then cried, then laughed again, then cried again in an endless loop of two emotions: sadness and relief. This one almost tops the first one, but Illuminae holds a dear space in my heart as my favorite from this series. The whole cast of characters was great, even Falk and the BeiTech teams that I actually liked a lot. I can't wait for the next one. And the cliffhanger at the end killed me.
I noticed this while reading Illuminae as well, but I just love how Kaufman and Kristoff added names of other authors into like records and stuff. For some reason it makes me smile and giggle. #gemina #illuminae
So happy that I got this today! Already loving it #illuminaefiles #illuminae #gemina
This book was suggested to me by one of my favorite teachers, so I had to read it. I really enjoyed the whole premise of the novel. It gave me chills thinking about hearing every man's thoughts and seeing what visions they see. Todd's character development throughout the novel made me like him more and more even though I did not appreciate him enough in the beginning. Amazing read! And poor Manchee! I cried.
I bought this one Friday night while I was out with my aunt and I finished it Sunday morning with tears in my eyes. It was an excellent read that kept me wanting more. Every time I put it down, I immediately wanted to pick it back up. Clay, I thought, was a bit annoying with the random thoughts in between listening to Hannah's tapes, but otherwise he was pretty cool.
"It's pointless and stupid and there's only suffering and pain and people who want to hurt you. You can't love nothing or no one cuz it'll all be taken away or ruined and you'll be left alone and constantly having to fight, constantly having to run to stay alive. There's nothing good in this life. Not nothing good nowhere." p. 402
I had been in a reading slump for about two months and this is the book that brought me out of it! It was so horrific and gruesome and I honestly thought it was amazing. In my opinion, the writing style was a bit iffy but it didn't take away the wow factor of the book.
Two of the books I picked up this weekend. I can't wait to read The Call because of all the great reactions and reviews of it! I'm sure this creepy read will get me into the Halloween Spirit
Probably my favorite book I'm reading right now!
I had really high hopes for this book but it didn't please me. I found Vee very annoying as well as Sydney. Until Vee finally learned some common sense, I couldn't stand her. And, by the way, I don't care that she's a Capricorn. She mentioned it so many times during that book. I might be into astrology and stuff, but I don't need a reminder that Vee is a Capricorn every few chapters.
I thought it was really really interesting and epic. Some of my favorites were 'The Girl Who Could Tame Nightmares', 'The First Ymbryne', and 'The Fork Tongued Princess.' I might have to do a reread of this soon because of how much I loved it.
I was at Barnes and Noble yesterday and picked this up. I've never heard of this before so this will be interesting. I'm already intrigued by the summary inside.
At first, I was kind of confused just because of the first few chapters. I thought those chapters weren't moving fluidly enough together, but I realized it was just a thing with me. Overall, I thought it was interesting. It kept me entertained and to be honest I almost cried in the last few chapters (which would've been bad because I was in school when I finished the book.) I can't wait for the next one to come out in this series!
So…I read it. I enjoyed it, then I began to sob. Like full on sobbing. I was surprised that I cried, since I didn't like Cassie much, but I cried anyway. Actually, it wasn't even the fact that Cassie died that made me cry. It was the fact that in the 'Marble Falls' part of the book, Yancey used Ben and Marika instead of Zombie and Ringer. That made me cry somehow. Anyway, I loved the book and it really ended the series in a great way.
I love coffee as much as I love books and reading! (Thank you to the barista who was a good sport as my sister and I asked for the name Bob Roberts to be called out.)
Just picked this up today and I've heard so many good things about it! (Don't mind the sticker on it. The bookstore places one on almost every book in the store)
Very interesting and spooky. I was unsure of how it would end but I'm satisfied with the ending. The author's writing was very intriguing and riveting. The whole history behind Okiku was pretty cool. I loved all of the history the author put into the novel. It made me even more interested.
Found this today while at Sam's Club. I was kind of surprised that it only cost like eight dollars for it but I was happy with the purchase!
This one was a quick and interesting read. I thought it moved a bit slow and I felt that sometimes it just dragged. Cora, the main character, pissed me off occasionally and so did Nok and Rolf. Actually, pretty much every character pissed me off at least once except for Mali. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book made me very happy! I was so intrigued by everything and it was just…beautiful. The dialogue could've been a bit better and at the beginning with the continuously changing scene at Hogwarts was a bit annoying, but otherwise amazing.

My dad thought I needed some cheering up after being bummed out for the last few days, so he got me this. Bless ✨
I really enjoyed this even though at some points I doubted that I would like it in the end. The whole dream mining and seeding thing kind of freaked me out a bit. Very, very cool in my opinion. I was very upset about what happened with Linus and Burnham, but I hope in the second book they'll return. Very interesting read! I definitely recommend this.
This book is very interesting so far. I'm really liking it! It might be going a bit too fast for me, but I can overlook that.
Great ending to the series! I really enjoyed this. I laughed, I (almost) cried, and let out a "squee" of joy. Probably one of my favorite books of the year. I can't wait for the movie coming out in September!
Loving this book so far!
I don't like self help books, but I thought this one was somewhat helpful. There were some things I didn't agree with and some I did. Most importantly it was just time for me to get this book done. (I've been reading this book for a year)
I needed to finish this book so I could get started on Red Queen and I'm so happy with the outcome. SnowBaz makes me ridiculously giddy and I honestly can't stop thinking about them. I was kind of happy when the Mage died because I never really liked him from the beginning. I definitely recommend!
My god I love the SimonXBaz ship! It makes me so happy!
This was an amazing book. At one point I had to stop because I wasn't feeling it, but I'm glad I kept going. All of the characters and the ships amazed me and I was happy with them, especially Ronan and Adam. I've shipped them since The Dream Thieves!
This one took me a while to get into, but I was deeply satisfied when I got into it. I enjoyed the characters, the setting, the books, everything. I'm so glad I picked this up a few years back. If I hadn't I would've probably missed out. I definitely suggest this book to any fans of science fiction.
