I really enjoyed reading this again 😊 I‘m also really glad a picked up this edition which includes Frankenstein, Dracula,and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This was a very excellent October read and I look forward to reading it again 😊 And Gus was sleeping while I was finishing my book ❤️ Also the introduction by Stephen King is incredible 😊

Just starting this one tonight 😊 this is a reread for me but I‘m still excited 😆 I feel it‘s a perfect read for the month of October 😊 and Gus really wants to play fetch ❤️

Great way to spend my morning 😊 This was a reread for me and I loved it, again. I love how Jekyll progresses from freedom in being Hyde, to loathing him, and finally to being trapped as Hyde unable to return to being Jekyll. It‘s tragic, but I also feel like there‘s a lesson in indulging your darker side too much and losing yourself to it. All in all I enjoyed it and I will enjoy it again next time 😊 And my reading buddy Gus ❤️

This was a fabulously enjoyable reread for me 😊 I especially enjoyed Van Helsing. I‘m sure I always have but this time through he really stood out to me. He‘s such a strong character and he perseveres, constantly fighting for the good of Lucy and Mina and everyone really 😊 Even Dracula this time through was more intriguing. I may be looking for some more of Dracula if anyone has any suggestions please let me know 😊

Relaxing on a family getaway with a good book and a fire almost built 😊

This book was very interesting and hard to put down. I have never read about a near death experience before and it was thrilling. I especially find it amazing that this account comes from a neurosurgeon whose mind had previously thought things like this foolish and or unexplainable. I‘m glad my sister lent me a copy 😊 and here‘s a pic of my two biggest reading distractions ❤️

Totally fell asleep on the couch with this one last night 🙃 Apparently I can‘t read all night anymore 😢

This book doesn‘t say anything about baking a lot in your 7th month, but I can‘t seem to stop 🙃

Recommendation from my sister and already it‘s pulled me in 😊 My Darth Vader pjs and I may just have to be up all night with this one 😜

This book is inspirational,hard to put down, and thought inducing. I don‘t want to spoil anything for future readers, so I‘ll just say that you may not agree with everything she has to say (I didn‘t 🤷‍♀️) but there is wisdom here and love. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will definitely be reading more of her stuff 😊

Maybe shouldn‘t have done baby research right before bed, because now my brain won‘t stop worrying and overthinking 😬 and Gus wants to help but doesn‘t know how ❤️

Really digging the reread of this one 😊 I forgot how awesome Van Helsing and Dr. Seward are with Lucy and how clueless her mom is. Then again, why would you suspect anything? And why wouldn‘t you remove stinky flowers from your daughter‘s room? And crack a window to help her sleep? 🤷‍♀️
The copy I‘m reading also contains Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I think I‘ll read both after I‘m finished with Dracula 🧛‍♂️

Maternity clothes 😊 I‘ve never been a big clothes shopper but I‘m having a lot of fun ordering a few things online here and there. I don‘t want to spend too much but it‘s nice to have a few pregnancy specific outfits 😊 and boyfriends clothes, mostly fit comfortably in a pinch 😉

More pregnancy reading 🙂

Pregnancy reading and preparing for baby can be overwhelming to be sure, but also really interesting. This book really opened my eyes to the importance of proper nutrition at every stage of pregnancy. There are some amazing recipes in here and lots of questions answered about everything from pregnancy weight gain to iron rich foods and vegan eating. 🙂 I really enjoyed learning with this book and trying out different recipes 🙂

Well I fell quite behind in this one towards the end, but I thoroughly enjoyed rereading this classic and especially doing it a chapter a day. I picked up on little things I missed from previous reads and I absolutely loved everyone‘s insights and commentaries on each chapter. I‘m excited for the next book we all read together 😊 #PemberLittens #ChapterADay

Chapter 52: Darcy=Amazing and Wickham=steaming pile of 💩.I love how Lizzie wants to believe Darcy did it all for her but considers it too vain because she turned down his proposal. It‘s really sweet of Darcy to do all that he did for Lizzie‘s family and then try to keep it a secret. Wickham tries to further his “sob story” about Darcy again but Elizabeth won‘t have any of it. She knows the truth now and she‘s cheeky😊 #ChapterADay #PemberLittens

Ch. 51: The Wickhams newly married come to visit before heading North. Mrs. B is over the moon, and Mr. B is well...not😉 Lydia is oblivious and flaunts her newfound marital bliss to all. Lizzie has to run away to escape the awkwardness. Lydia let slip that Darcy was at the wedding and now Elizabeth must know the details. Ch. 50: I really enjoyed a glimpse into Mr. Bennet‘s determination to have a son, only to have 5 daughters instead. I begin to understand him more, to see how ignorant Mrs. Bennet is of his feelings,how clueless she is about the circumstances with Lydia and Wickham. Lizzie and Jane are able to convince their father to have Lydia and Wickham visit before starting their married life in the North. #ChapterADay #PemberLittens and baby Gus ❤️

And all caught up again 😊 Chapter 49: Lydia is to be married after all and this brings little comfort to Mr. Bennet who now feels he must owe his brother a great sum of money he can never pay back. Mrs. Bennet on the other hand feels she is owed what her brother has paid and that it is right that he should help his niece. Catch up continues with Chapter 48: Mr. Collins sends a terrible letter. He says it would be better for the family if Lydia had died. He also rats on Charlotte, who told him of Lydia‘s lack of discipline and her parents indulging her every whim. As icing on the cake he even mentions that he can count himself lucky he and Lizzie didn‘t marry because he would have shared in the family‘s embarrassment. I‘m behind on catching up this week 🙃 Chapter 47: Ah Mrs. Bennet, only you can simultaneously place blame on everyone but yourself for your daughter‘s elopement, and talk about wedding clothes and sparing no expense for them. It‘s fun catching up 😊 Chapter 45: Miss Bingley is a snake. Blinded by jealousy and anger she watches Elizabeth closely, comments cruelly and even tries to pull Darcy into criticizing her. Darcy isn‘t fooled though. He continues to put his sister and Elizabeth together in conversation because he values them getting along. Elizabeth and her aunt both want to discuss Darcy but neither will take the first step. #ChapterADay #PemberLittens and Gus 😴

So behind...again🙃 Chapter 44: Enter Miss Darcy, elegant as all get out and shy. Not at all what Lizzie was expecting. And we see Bingley again and find out that he misses Jane, and even that he knows how long it‘s been since he last saw her ❤️ Elizabeth‘s aunt and uncle know how Darcy feels about her but they are uncertain of her feelings for him. #ChapterADay #PemberLittens and yes I‘m reading an Archie comic in between catching up 😊

Caught up😊Ch.43: possibly my favourite chapter ❤️ if it‘s even possible to have just one favourite 😉Darcy arrives home a day early and surprises Elizabeth and her aunt and uncle while they are viewing his property. I love the interactions between Elizabeth and Darcy, after she has heard so many good things about his character from the house keeper. She is embarrassed and he is polite and charming 😊 #ChapterADay #PemberLittens And Gus and Matt❤️

Catch up time again 🙃 Chapter 42: Lizzie is disappointed that the lake trip is cancelled and that she has to wait 4 weeks for the shortened trip plans to commence. I love how Jane is described as the favourite with her cousins and how her kindness is represented. On finding out she‘s able to go to Brighton she disregards Kitty‘s feelings and rubs her good fortune in the face of her family. Almost caught up 😊 Chapter 40: Mrs. Bennet is a real piece of work in this chapter. Jane on the other hand is so good and so ready to believe the best of everyone, it‘s endearing. Still catching up 🙃 Chapter 39: Lizzie and Jane are “treated” to a cold luncheon by Lydia and Kitty. Lydia proceeds to tell them about Wickham and his broken attachment to Mary King. Lizzie isn‘t heartbroken for Wickham and she is pleased that Mary King escaped his clutches. Lydia basically just talks loudly throughout the carriage ride and even upon their return home. So terribly behind this week 🙃 Chapter38: we bid farewell to Mr. Colins and all the Rosings rabble. Lizzie is happy for Charlotte and anxious to get home. She‘s worried about what she should tell Jane and what she should leave concealed.
