Last week I signed up to be a consultant for a direct sales company. Do any of you have any recommendations of books that have work at home or selling tips? I set up a page on Facebook, but not many people seem interested yet.

I finally went back to work today, after missing almost a week. I went in Tuesday feeling horrible, and my boss sent me home after 30 minutes. I went to the doctor, and he said I had type A flu. I wasn't supposed to go back to work until Tuesday but he said as long as my fever was gone 24 hours I could go back. It's been a rough week, but I'm glad to be feeling better. I did get a lot of reading done.
2. Neither
3. I've never used either. Ketchup

@speculativefemale
I didn't read anything over the weekend. I wound up working ten to twelve hours each day and was to exhausted to do anything when I got home. Hopefully the next @24in48 will be better.
I'm heading to work now. I'll be there midnight to eleven in the morning, so I won't get to start reading until later tomorrow. I won't get near 24 hours but that's okay. I'll read as much as I can. I've been night shift all week, so it has thrown off my reading. @24in48
I went to the main branch of our library today, and got a dozen books, including the tagged one. There's a little used bookstore down the street from it, so I had to buy a bunch there. He had some books for a dime! I hadn't bought a book all year. I think that's a record for me.
Christie Daniels had left her old life far behind. She'd finally realized her dream of opening a small bed and breakfast in New Mexico. Her father didn't approve, but then he never approved of anything his daughter did.
He even went so far as to send an emissary - Matt Gallagher, another hardheaded, overbearing, big-city stockbroker - to bring her back. Well, she'd had enough of men like that.
Book Description-Veterinarian Rachel Small Deer dreams of bringing her skill and knowledge to help the people of the reservation where she had grown up. Denver painter Nick Cassavettes has come to Los Cincos, New Mexico to reclaim the art he has lost through the guilt he feels over the death of his younger brother.
I know I've asked this before, but how do I copy the pictures on here and repost them? Like the ones with quizzes or challenge goals? I was able to download the Mrs Darcy's challenge from their site but can't figure out how to do it on Litsy.
I'm enjoying this so far. When Conrad Steele is murdered, his three wives learn about each other and that they are suspects in his death. Each one thinks that were left his cabin in Texas, and head there, not knowing the others are coming.
I just joined the Modern Mrs. Darcy challenge. I'm bad to only read romance or mystery novels, so hopefully this will expand my reading a bit.
I'm back. My cat destroyed my old phone, so I didn't have Litsy for a couple months. I really missed everyone. My goal for this year is 500 books. I'm at 26 so far, including several in this cozy mystery series.
I've read several of her books lately, and I am really enjoying them. I've been reading a lot more lately, but just haven't posted in awhile.
I read 26 books in February, which is low for me. I've been working a lot lately, and was just too tired to read. I couldn't focus when I tried. I hope March is better. If I hadn't lowered my goal this year, I would be behind. :( Still, there is plenty of time for me to catch up. The book tagged is the last book I read in February. That was on the 23rd. I haven't read anything in almost a week.
"Every town has a crooked lawyer," I said. "But even crooks have the right to buy chocolate." Lol. I really like this series.
I've read these out of order, but it hasn't hurt much. This is the third in the series, and I really enjoyed it. These are nice, quick reads, and I'm glad I have a few more to enjoy.
I managed to limit myself to three library books today, but only after I forced myself to put several back. I already had a stack at home.
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I don't work today, so I'm spending the day with my family. I hope everyone has a great day.
I haven't read all of these, but I love the series. I need to see which ones the library has.
This will be free on kindle for a few days. I just got an email about it. https://www.amazon.com/Escapade-Enterprising-Ladies-Kasey-Michaels-ebook/dp/B00C...
Goodreads has finally added the second date option, so it finally counts rereads. I am so happy about this. I have several books I reread, and this will help me keep track. One year I read Pride and Prejudice several times. I wish it had had the option then.
I've heard about this series for a long time, and finally found the first three at the library. I really enjoyed this one, and can't wait to read the rest.
My stack of cozy mysteries (and one romance) from the library.
I just changed my username on here from Bd200889.
The description of this book is wrong. Here's the back cover. Jennifer Shane is struggling to keep Custom Card Creations open for business, so her aunt Lillian snags her a delightful (and cheaper) apartment by the lake- which is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of its last occupant. Things get worse when a tragic accident kills Maggie Blake, one of her beloved card club members.
I just finished my last book for January. I'm at 13 percent of my goal of 400.
Because life is like that, isn't it? If you thought of all the tiny things that divert your path one way or another, some good, some bad, you'd never do anything ever again. page 27
Loving this so far.
I'm trying another book with serial reader. I've been meaning to read this for a long time. I'm still not sure I'll keep serial reader. I don't usually take more than a day to read a book, but maybe this will help me get back into reading more classics.
This stack of books came from my grandmother. I love getting new books, but it is weird getting Harlequin romances from her.
😃
I forgot about DailyLit. They send books by email for free. They are mostly public domain, like serial reader, but you can get the next issue at any time.
I just read my first issue on Serial Reader. I don't know if I'll like the app or not. This book wouldn't take me four days to read otherwise. I'm not sure I want to pay to read ahead when the books are public domain. Does anyone else use this? What do you think?
I'm starting this now. It is for a cozy mystery challenge on Goodreads. I haven't read anything by this author so I hope it's good.
Let us read, and let us dance; these two amusements will never do any harm to us. I had to save this quote. I've seen a bunch of posts about this, so I had to put it on hold at the library. It sounds really good. I let my sister read it first, so it will be a day or two before I read it

This will be released in April in the U.S. I love this series, and can't wait to read it
I only got to read 4 hours and 45 minutes, but I still managed to finish 6 books. I'm not too unhappy with my first #24in48. I'll be waiting for the next one.
I really liked this one. I will probably get one more book in for #24in48.
I still haven't read anything today because I've been at work but I will get in a few hours tonight. I managed to read 4 books yesterday though, including this one which I thought was silly.
I only managed three hours yesterday. I had to work, and went to the grocery store after. Then my family decided to keep talking to me while I read. :(
I'm starting my @24in48 right now with this. I just got home, and work tomorrow so I probably won't get close to the full 48 hours.
Davy and Cali are making it hard for me to read today. I'm only on page 28.
I just got approved for this on netgalley. I don't need any more books to review, but I couldn't resist the title.
#netgalley
I'm starting this for A Winter's Respite readathon. It is also continuing my connections challenge on Goodreads. Is anyone else doing the readathon?
This is the second book in a row of hers that I really didn't enjoy. I wouldn't have finished either one if it hadn't been for a challenge on Goodreads.
One of my babies, Davy.
