I've been incommunicado since the weekend with a nasty case of the stomach flu. I couldn't even read. The horror! 😫
I'm hoping to catch up with you all over the next few days. And start a book.

So what I thought was allergies is now body aches, cough, chills, stuffy head, sinus congestion and sneezing. All which led to a doctor visit and a flu swab. Well, at least I have 20 minutes to read, right?
I finally went back to work today, after missing almost a week. I went in Tuesday feeling horrible, and my boss sent me home after 30 minutes. I went to the doctor, and he said I had type A flu. I wasn't supposed to go back to work until Tuesday but he said as long as my fever was gone 24 hours I could go back. It's been a rough week, but I'm glad to be feeling better. I did get a lot of reading done.
Home yesterday sick, went to work today... got sent home. Am I the only one who gets too sick to read? It just requires so much energy 🤒😷
He just woke up from a 3 hour nap so he looks pretty miserable, but his fever *finally* broke! He seems to have a little more appetite today but I think he‘s pretty dehydrated despite my pushing fluids on him constantly...
So the flu really sucks. I‘ve been so sick for the 5 days that I can‘t even read. 😢 had to go back to Dr today because I couldn‘t breathe. Maybe tomorrow I‘ll be able to read some. Get your flu shot, wash your hands, and go to the dr right away if you might have the flu 😷
