I've been so depressed since watching The Walking Dead on Sunday, I needed something light and fluffy, and this sounded cute, and right in time for Halloween! 🎃

This book follows a group of very privileged kids in the San Francisco Bay area, and one of their teachers for several years. Oh, how I loved this book! The writing was absolutely beautiful, and the character development was fantastic. This one will stay with me for a long time. I can't stop thinking about these people. I can't wait to see what's next for this author!

I was initially attracted to this book because of the author, Andrew McCarthy. Well, he's more than just a great actor! I was definitely pulled in to the story immediately. I cared about the characters, which is always the most important aspect of any book I read. I found Lucy to be a sympathetic character, and could completely understand her feelings about what she "found out" about her family. This is a great "Teen Read!"

I can not WAIT to dive into this one. I LOVE Andrew McCarthy! 😍 I hope he's as good of an author as he is an actor! 😬
