I lost my sweet Pele last week. We had 14 great years — and many hours in the reading chair — together. I know he‘s in my Dad‘s lap getting 24/7 ear rubs. ❤️❤️❤️

We lost our dog this weekend to a brain tumour. He was in pain and very restless so i rarely left his side over the course of 3 days. I miss my reading buddy and after a very sad and stressful weekend it was nice to sit down with a book and take my mind off of it. We miss you Tucker. 💙
Congrats, @CoffeeCatsBooks on your 15K!
Here are my two favourite animals, both “dearly departed” now. They lived long and happy doggie lives. ❤️❤️
(I‘m feeling the urge to get another pet! 😬)
#PayItForward
I‘ve been absent for a few days and haven‘t even read at all (!) because one of my doggies had a stroke and had to be put down. 😫 Now we‘re spoiling the remaining dog. He has his own Instagram account @ borsalicious. I want to make him a bookish dog, but as you can see, he‘s dubious about this idea.
✨I posted about my baby, LeeLand, a few months ago when #dogsoflitsy was going around. He suffered from a ton of medical issues. A week ago, he had completely given up. From losing his voice to any control of his bladder. So, Monday I made the toughest decision of my life and decided to quit being selfish.💜
✨I'm having a ton of emotions, but I do have some daily things and events planned for my fellow Littens that I'm excited to get started✨📚😘
One of my favorite pictures even though this cute boy isn't with us any longer. When we got him from the ASPCA, he had no fur at all, when it grew back into this lovely long-haired doxen, even the vet was surprised. However for the rest of his days he had that one patch on top that didn't come back in quite right, leaving him with an adorable permanent mohawk. Chewy may be gone, but this picture always makes me smile, hope it helps you too...
Said goodbye to my Lady Lex today. She lived a long and good life.
Today my dad got a call from the animal shelter saying they had his dog. A dog that has been missing for 6 yrs! Someone turned him in but he looked to be in bad shape. Unfortunately because of his condition & his age (around 10-12 yrs), the vet suggested he be put down. I know this was a difficult decision for my dad because he loved him. We're lucky someone took him in for as long as they did. Long live that little football with legs. 🐶💗🌈✌️️😔
