Worst Christmas gift ever for an introvert? Tickets to go see something with a lot of people. At first I was excited bc I thought my MIL bought tickets for my husband and kids and I'd have the day to myself. Unfortunately, I counted 4 tickets soon after. The show was great, but after such a long day I'm ready to cut anyone's tongue out that talks to me or suffocate anyone that breathes in the same air as me. #mentallyexhausted

I was actually a little surprised by the I but it was a 60/40 ratio. I always say I am a shy extrovert. It was interesting though and most of the traits of the defender were spot on especially in the workplace. #introvertorextrovert

Chasing_Pages I got the same thing and I‘m exactly the same why, shy and introverted sometimes but part extrovert other times. It‘s weird but at least the quiz understands us! 😉 7y

So the older I get the more introverted I think I am. I prefer to go nowhere on the weekends if I can help it. I just want to cozy up at home and relax. My younger self loved going out and being in a large group but eh not so much now. I was wondering if my fellow littens consider themselves more introverted or extroverted. #introvertorextrovert

Mitch Me too! As I‘ve got older I‘ve got better at acknowledging what I love to do and trying to do more of it. I have a very public / people orientated job - so when that‘s over I‘m a real home bod! Staying in is what I look forward to most about the weekend! 7y

Jadams89 Introvert to the max. Social interaction in general is awkward for me even when I‘m comfortable with people. I end up sitting there thinking “why am I here when there are books to be read and Movies to be watched?” 7y

Nessavamusic I‘m an extroverted introvert, I‘m a teacher so I have to be “on” all day so outside of work I don‘t tolerate people much besides my husband. @JoScho 7y

xicanti I was surprised when the Myers-Briggs test told me I was an extrovert, but I've come to embrace the label. I love going out and doing stuff, though I find transportation stressful and I'm not especially good at meeting new people because I'm anxious. Send me out with someone who can make an introduction or two, though, and I'm all good. 7y

Melissa_J I‘m an introvert who can be an extrovert when the situation calls for it, and have become more comfortable with my extrovert side as I‘ve gotten older. That said, I need alone time to re-charge and rest, and I can‘t stay in social situations for extended periods of time without needing a solitude break. My husband thinks I‘d make a good hermit. 7y

Grrlbrarian Introvert called upon to be an extrovert at work. By the end of the workday, I‘m knackered and ready for solitude! Seems to have gotten more pronounced the older I get as well 7y

ReadingOver50 100% introvert. I‘ve never had any question about it. Surprisingly I am currently employed as a phone operator and talk to people all day. But because it is over the phone and I don‘t have to initiate conversations it is fine 😄 7y

I like being with people and don‘t get drained by my interactions, but I‘m very glad to have quiet alone time. I don‘t crave going out and doing stuff the way I used to.
