My favorite booktuber Haley Pham mentioned how much she really liked this book a while back, so I‘m finally digging it off my shelves. I‘m about 100 pages in, and I have no idea why I didn‘t get to it sooner! I love the writing, the pacing, and even though it‘s a tragic and heartbreaking read at times, I know our main character is going to be alright in the end ❤️

Brought some reading on a little getaway to Virginia ❤️ I‘ve heard nothing but praise for this series, so nothing to it but to do it!

I picked this up on a whim at my local B&N, and that cover is certainly what drew me in 🫐 Not to mention, the storyline sounds fantastic and we vacationed on a blueberry farm in Maine a few months back. I scored an awesome deal at the local used bookstore today! The Usborne books I got for my son which were never opened (originally an $80 value) for only $20! And the rest were for myself, priced at $3 each. It‘s always a good day when you find some deals on great books 📚

I wasn‘t ready for the many tears to form in my eyes while reading this. Beautifully heartbreaking, and I believe this is the authors debut novel. I‘ll be looking for more of her in the future.

It‘s that time of the month again! I‘m so excited about these April #bookspin books…last month was a lot of thriller, so I‘m excited to settle down a bit with these. So far I‘ve read every #bookspin book that has been chosen off my tbr, so I‘m hoping to keep it going strong. This is such a fun way to knock out that tbr!

A lot of my booktubers that I follow couldn‘t get enough of this romance, so I thought I‘d give it a go. I liked it, I wouldn‘t go as far as saying I loved it, but it was a fun and fluffy quick read. I like that the main characters nickname was “Lemon.” 🍋

I can‘t even begin to tell you how perfect everything is @Chrissyreadit 💛 Everything about this package made me smile, but most importantly, getting to know you and our emails back and forth to one another has been such a beautiful thing! I can‘t wait to read the Chronicles of Prydain novels with my son, it‘s going to be an incredible epic adventure! This #litsyfoundfamilyswap has been absolutely amazing!

Woah, I had no idea this book was going to be so dark and disturbing. What the heck did I even read?! It was good, confusing at times, but the author wrapped it up very well. What a twisted story, and one that I think is actually going to haunt me a little!

I finished my March #bookspin over the weekend, and I was a little disappointed in this thriller. The first half was pretty slow, and it finally got interesting the last quarter of the book. I wasn‘t really interested in any of the characters, and it jumped around way too much for me. The writing was a bit all over the place at times. Onto my #doublebookspin next!

A day full of cooking and baking today! It‘s for a good cause, my best friend had her first baby and I‘m taking her fresh lasagna, freshly baked pepperoni bread, Caesar salad, and chocolate olive cake for dessert. I remember those newborn days when cooking seemed like such a chore, so I‘m very excited to be bringing her lunch tomorrow ❤️

I‘m enjoying this Charlotte Mason technique on homeschooling. I‘m always interested and intrigued by different approaches to homeschooling, and I love how she incorporates nature and literature together to teach and inspire. From what I heard about this, I think my heart is in for a little emotional journey. I‘m about 150 pages in, and I can already start to see some warning signs of Ryle. I‘ve been doing some highlighting since a lot of sentences used are actual life lessons 💐

What a haunting and beautifully written novel this is. I didn‘t expect to love this book as much as I did, but it truly is a work of art all in itself. I do have to warn that there is a trigger: suicide and depression. The author writes this sensitive subject with care, and it is a story I will never forget. 🪶
