It has not been a good year so far, It has been mentally and physically awful, because of this I haven‘t read much at all. This is changing!! I‘m back to Litsy and back on the books!!! Hiii everyone!! I‘ve missed you all!!

I was bamboozled!! Twice!! First I was told by book-tok that this book was spicy, a slow burn but spicy. Wrong, it‘s a wet candle that won‘t light. Second I was told there were currently 2 books, but the second one isn‘t out yet!! These being said, this book is absolutely fantastic and I‘ll probably reread it before the second comes out, that I‘ve already pre ordered!

Can anyone suggest a nice cozy pallet cleanser read?? Series or stand alone is fine. I just need something quick and easy to take my mind off things but not make me think too much! Please and thank you!!

I finally finished this beast! It‘s for my not quite 5ft Nana and this thing is big on my 6ft husband! 😂😂 we are taking a quick trip to TN to see my Nana and Papa next week and I think she‘s gonna be excited and love it! She is always cold and purple is her favorite color so I think this will be a perfect fit for her 🥰🥰 now to start the next one! I think it will be a #slytherin one

While I was gone today my amazing Hubby put up my TBR shelves!! He even decorated them and added some books as place holders while I get organized 🥰🥰 he is legit the best!!

When I tell you I devoured this book, I DEVOURED this book!! It‘s a dark mafia romance/mystery and I didn‘t think I was going to be so into it but I instantly fell in love with these damaged, morally chaotic characters and I never wanted it to end! Almost already done with book 2!

I‘m pretty sure I‘ve said it before but I‘ll say it 100 more times, I love this book/series and it gets me out of a slump 100% of the time! It makes me laugh and gives me the warm and fuzzies! Highly recommend. All books and novelas are on KU now!!

Today I am just existing. I‘m having post surgery pain and not feeling well at all. I‘m going to watch movies and hopefully read a little and hope I feel well enough to work tomorrow.

Today officially started my sinus surgery prep, nothing that could cause bleeding, I‘m so ready to have it done and to feel better, but I have never had any kind of procedure like this done so I‘m pretty anxious about it. Also my niece gave me her cold so I‘m feeling pretty miserable right now, I think this weekend will be met with sleep and reading, hopefully more reading than I have been doing!! #happyfriday

I baked bread, set up my aero planter, listened to a great audio book and baked a small batch of peanut butter cookies this weekend. After a long couple of weeks it was nice to relax and feel productive 🥰

I haven‘t felt well at all today so my husband went to the store to get me meds and came home with the meds and a new squishmallow! If that‘s not love then I don‘t know what is 😂🥰 he also made sure my kindle and iPad were fully charged and that I had a power bank in my nest (that‘s what we call it when I make a pile of pillows blankets and stuffies in the bed). I don‘t know how much reading I‘ll do between naps but I‘m prepared!

Today was a pretty crap day at work and I‘m really hoping everything will just blow over and be okay tomorrow but I highly doubt it…. I‘m going to listen to this cute and steamy read to drown out the worries!!

Another 5⭐️ book from Tessa Bailey! It was sweet and it made me fall in love with the characters more and more. I love having the background characters grow as well. Ready for book 3!

I am on a roll of finding great audio books that I‘m finishing in a day or two! This one was sweet and a great story and also HOT!! Like hotter than I expected! Super enjoyed it and have book two downloaded 🥰

I loved this retelling!! I couldn‘t put it down, or turn it off since I listened to the audio, I wanted to know what was going to happen next and when I found out I wanted more! Both main characters were relatable and lovable, this world just keeps getting better and better.

Really enjoyed this one, a neat retelling and a solid start to a new world. The beginning and end were captivating but the middle was a little muddled and predictable but enjoyable enough that I know I will reread in the future. 🥰 I‘ve already started book 2. Also, I‘m behind and need to get to reading!!

My son saw this at Walmart today and said, Mom you need this! It was the first time we‘ve gone inside a store in a very long time and I was very excited to find this guy!! Aliens is one of my most favorite movie franchises!!

I did some audio cooking for dinner tonight. I‘m enjoying this book, it absolutely needs to be listened to alone or with head phones in! Lol. I made corn bread muffins with pinto beans( I add roasted jalapeños and cheddar to mine), green beans and brown sugar ham. My tummy is happy and now to finish this book up and start number two since it recently came out! Have a beautiful night everyone!!

Thank you everyone for the well wishes for my son, he has fully recovered and is feeling just fine. He has since given it to me and with two auto immunes I‘m feeling like junk and just can‘t kick it. I‘ve been trying to work as much as I can, I work from home, but mostly it‘s been sleeping or dazing while the tv is on. I‘m going to try a reread of one of my favorite series, and catch up on some new ones. I hope you all have a beautiful week!!

My son woke up this morning not feeling well and then he couldn‘t smell nor taste (I had him try vinegar and he said it was water) my husband took him to get tested around 4 my time 5.5 hours ago so now we are just waiting on results but we are pretty sure he‘s gonna be positive. I‘ve been sick all of 2022 and now the kid, I‘m ready to hibernate and everything be okay again!!

I finished this audio book in 1 day!! If you are in a slump and like hilarious, semi romantic and a bit of murder mystery this series will be a quick fun go!!

I did it!!!! I really didn‘t think I would get through my goal this year but I am so glad I found this series to help me out! On audio it‘s absolutely hilarious and a quick listen. I‘m happy hoopla has all of them! 🥰🥰

This has been my favorite book so far, the story was fun and kept me guessing. I feel like it ended a little quickly but that could be because I didn‘t want their story to end. Already borrowed the next book and have it playing now!!

I am so happy that I found this series on Hoopla!! It‘s hilarious and action packed with a little bit of smut. It‘s so ridiculous sometimes that it makes you want more!!

Today was an amazing day! The hubs and I went to see Free Guy, I went to Michaels and got crochet supplies, my first time ever so wish me luck and drop all the tips and hints!! He went to Game Stop and got me Alien blind bags, my fav! I came home to a package from @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I love it all!!
