Procrastinating today with a new read. I'm sure I'll get round to all the applications ....just after one more chapter!
#newread #blackcover #book9of2019
I couldn't recommend this enough! I felt so much emotion as I travelled with Nuri and Afra, through their hardships and loss to hope! It's cleverly written and I love the linking word mid chapter that beautifully joins the past and present in Nuri's life.
This has been my favourite read of 2019 and I highly recommended this book. It is fictional but is so poignant to the struggles of the world today.
Thank you #Christylefteri #thebuzzproject
This is a bold move away from my traditional genres, but I've thrown all caution to the wind and am going to try it ( espicially as it's so relevant to what we hear in the news today).

Battered by camping trips and rough handling in my school bag, but I still love this book 🧡 My favourite in the series since I started reading them all those years ago.
This term has been so busy, I'm so glad to be able to sit down and finally finish it!

The last few weeks have been work, mark and apply for jobs on repeat. There's been no time for reading and I've been too stressed to try! But the sun today has brought some good news, a little time for reading and Mr Whippy to my street! Thank you Sun-day!

I don't care if it's illogical that Harry breaks rules and saves the magical world as a child, I still love it and nothing will change my mind 💚
Furthermore, the #forbiddenforest was a favourite scene to explore last summer in the London studios

Our lazy sunny afternoon!

From a simple case, you follow the detective Arrowood and Barnett as they discover more and end up chasing a completely different case.
I got frustrated that with all the information Arrowood was no closer, which emulates the feeling of the detective, but I could not put this down and loved the suspense it created.
This was Book 2, which explains the confusing start I had with the characters. Next time I'll read Book 1 first!

Easter half term has officially started, so we plan to spend the evening with our current read.
I've started listening to music that links to my current read. Does anybody else do this? Or do you have certain reading tracks/album?

It's been great reading everyone's 20 things about me for #litsylove, so hope you like mine (even if it is a little late to the game) 🧡

It's wonderful going back to an old favourite, and Harry Potter never disappoints.
The one thing that always baffles me with this book sleeve though - who is the pipe-smoking wizard?

I think someone wants attention!
This happens every time I pick up a book. Luckily I have two hands and can spare one for fusses.

Such a beautiful card, thank you @whatsthEStorey 💚
A reply and a bit more #litsylove will be in the post tomorrow morning.
I've struggled to get into something new this evening, so with my shandy I shall return to a welcoming favourite ⚡ #backtoprivetdrive
📚 Of Mice and Men (living of the fat of the land)
🎥 Mary Poppins (bracing for the cannon fire)

This book is fantastic. You follow the Stoker family from childhood to their travels/race against Dracul. The flits between childhood, letters and diary entries mixed with the book present lends itself to fantastic story telling. I have not been able to put this book down.
The ending entwines with Stokers Dracula beautifully; Bram is visited by Mina Harker, reads her experience and decides to take action. I am left wanting more. #mustread
Spring has finally sprung, and nothing beats reading in the garden 🧡

No Welsh this morning and finally some time to chillax. This calls for more #litsylove to go out and a spare few minutes of reading
I cannot wait to start these in Easter half term!

March has been mean and hectic, but #litsylove has really brightened my day!
Thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @WeeziesBooks and @wordzie ❤

To the pupil I made a promise to, you were right! This book was lighthearted, fun and I enjoyed it!
My colleagues call me crazy for listening to do many pupil suggestions, I end up reading/watching/doing a lot of unusual things (recently watching Dr Who and agreeing to try bizarre food pairings), but it's so worth it and I value that they've thought about me and the relationships built from it.

1. Avid crafter (knit, sew and crochet) and massive Mary Berry wannabe!
2. I tend to go for more historical fiction but I'm usually influenced by reviews, suggestions and (for shame) a pretty cover 🙈
3. Bonnie, a super white westie that doesn't like to 'dog', especially when raining.
4. Yes and yes!
5. I am a wool hoarder.
6. One of my favourite books is tagged in the post.
Thank you 💚 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
It may seem a little far fetched, but this period drama/historical novel with time travel, magic stones, love and (a bit) gore really won me over!
So glad I persevered after the slump in the middle!

I'm half way through this book but am really struggling to carry on going! Just after other thoughts about Outlander and a little encouragement to keep going.
Has anybody else have this issue?
I'm hoping a good cup of tea and a few hours of dedication will put me back on track.

"To forget would be not only dangerous but offensive; to forget the dead would be akin to killing them a second time."
I read a lot around the topics I teach, but this has to be one of the most poignant books by far.
When you're reading your favourite book and get this feeling ❤
