Where Evil Lies Buried 1896: Sherlock Holmes has once again hit the headlines, solving mysteries for the cream of aristocracy. But among the workhouses and pudding shops of South London, private detective William Arrowood is presented with far grittier, more violent and considerably less well-paid cases. Arrowood has no doubt who is the better detective, and when Mr. and Mrs. Barclay engage him to find their estranged daughter, Birdie, hes sure it wont be long before he and his assistant, Barnett, have tracked her down. But this seemingly simple missing-person case soon turns into a murder investigation. Far from the comfort of Baker Street, Arrowoods London is a city of unrelenting cruelty, where evil is waiting to be uncovered

Pickpick

From a simple case, you follow the detective Arrowood and Barnett as they discover more and end up chasing a completely different case.
I got frustrated that with all the information Arrowood was no closer, which emulates the feeling of the detective, but I could not put this down and loved the suspense it created.

This was Book 2, which explains the confusing start I had with the characters. Next time I'll read Book 1 first!

Easter half term has officially started, so we plan to spend the evening with our current read.

I've started listening to music that links to my current read. Does anybody else do this? Or do you have certain reading tracks/album?
