This one was my christmas present! I'm 70 pages in and so far I love it ^^ Luckily there are some cozy days ahead with a lot of reading time. 😀 Merry christmas to everyone! 💫

This was the first Terry Pratchett book I read and I really enjoyed it! It made me laugh a lot. The witches were so much fun and so lovely.
Thank you so much @Tineke . This book was a great pick for the #Litsylove winterswap! ❤
So with this one being the only Terry Pratchett book I know, does anyone have a recommendation for the next one? 😀
My #winterswap package for #litsylove is on its way now! 🤗 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Tineke
I found this book in a second hand bookshop and finished it in one sitting. I didn't know anything about the Essex or Nantucket before and it was very fascinating. Usually I'm not a big fan of non fiction books but this one is written very captivating.
🔸And again I haven't been on Litsy for a while. I can't even explain it. Sometimes I just have phases where I am more of an offline person.😅But now I am excited to post and participate again! 😊
I got this one in the may fairyloot box and I really liked it. The story might be a bit predictable at times but it's fun to read and a book to get lost in. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
Hmm.. I liked the beginning of it. I didn't know before where the book was going and while reading it had no idea how the story might unfold, which made it a very interesting and creepy read first. But after a while the story felt kinda forced to me. It felt like the writer really wanted to show us some of these photos and that's why he thought of a connection to the story. I liked the idea behind it but for me it didn't really work out.
I want to say a huge Thank you to everyone who thought of me for my birthday on monday! ❤❤❤Thank you for the all the wonderful birthday cards and cute little presents @mvegabec @TheBookHippie @catebutler @OriginalCyn620 @Crazeedi @Rissreads @Lovebooks87 @robinb @laurenslibrary @Slajaunie @BookwormAHN @DGRachel @JoyBlue @UwannaPublishme @MoonWitch94 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
I love the mini letter set you sent! @nelehelen

Tonight I arrived back from a perfect holiday week in the netherlands to find so much wonderful #litsylove waiting for me! Thank you so much @TheBookHippie @whatsthEStorey @nelehelen @Stacypatrice @iread2much
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thank you so much for the pretty bookmark. Matching bookmarks are such a great idea! 🤗
I will send answers out this week!
Also I finished 3 books last week, so there are some reviews coming up 😆
This is how the first letter of each chapter in this book is made. Isn't that cool? 😀 It's a Buchling (Bookling)
I'm a bit late but here it is :) #20thingsaboutme #litsylove @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
I have to share my new treasure with you! I found this on a bookfair two weekends ago. I love everything from Walter Moers but didn't know he had a new book. It made me so happy to find it between all the books at the fair! I can't wait to dive into it. I always recommend him to everyone and then it usually makes me sad that I already know all his books and don't have the chance anymore to read a book from him for the first time. And now I have!😍
I finished this last night. I absolutly loved the artwork. It was interesting to learn more about Auri. I liked how all these little things around her made her so happy and excited.
But I found it a bit repetitive after some time. In the endnote of this book Patrick Rothfuss wrote how the book is not for those people who expect a normal story with a normal story line. Well, I guess I'm 'those people' 😅
I got so much wonderful #litsylove last week! Thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @iread2much @Slajaunie @whatsthEStorey @WeeziesBooks
I will send answers out this week 🤗
Also pictured: my new folder for all the Litsylove 😊
1. in a little village near Dresden, Germany
2. I would like to move to Dresden. It's a really beautiful town and the village where I live right now is a bit to small if you ask me ;)
3. Prague, the tagged one.
4. Dresden is famous for Stollen and our neighbour village is famous for its gingerbread. I also live close to Radeberg. They are famous for their beer 😀
5. I sent some #litsylove letters today ❤❤

@SailorMoon
Like tidying up in your head. 👍 There where also chapters that were kinda boring or just not for me but in total it was interesting and helpful.
I think if you only find one approach in this book that works for you then it was already worth it.
I liked the biggest part of it. It is a story to get lost in, one of these books you just can't put away. I can totally understand why it is so popular. However, in the end I had to distance myself from all the violence and abuse.
I haven't decided yet, if I want to continue with the series. I bought it mostly out of curiosity.
I received a #litsylove letter today! From @Stacypatrice Thank you so much ❤ My answer and two more letters will go out tomorrow :)
I spent the weekend with my long distance boyfriend. Because of bad weather and storm the train ride took around 9 hours instead of the usual 8 hours both times...
The result? Around 600 pages of Outlander 😅
I start to get the hype about these books now. It's a story to get completely absorbed in. Perfect for long train rides.
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Your letter arrived Misty! Thank you so much ❤ I also brought some #litsylove to the post office today 😊
1. Sewing, stitching, drawing.. I love being creative ^^ Also reading of course!
2. Everything except thriller/horror. I especially like books with beautiful illustrations.
3. I have a bird called Raja, her 'boyfriend' Rumo sadly died recently but she seems happier and more relaxed alone, so I think I will keep it like this now. 🐦
4. Yes, accurate and unowned :)
5. ..Books? 😅
6. I'm so glad to be a part of #litsylove .I love snail mail!
I made it! #twelveintwo @Samplergal
I finished The bell jar, read Annihilation and started Outlander.
This was fun! 😊
I read about 5 hours yesterday and finished Annihilation. I'm not a big fan of this book. Yes, it was creepy and this made it interesting, but it all stayed so far away. I didn't care about the characters. Everything was so unpersonal. Maybe it was supposed to be like this but for me it made reading it a bit boring. I'm curious about the Netflix movie now!
#twelveintwo
@Samplergal
So far I read about one hour today. Not all that much but I need to get familiar with this entire concept first. It feels weird to stop the time when reading ^^' I finished 'The bell jar', but I only had a couple of pages left there. I will post a review about it later. Now I startet Annihilation. I'm really curious about this one! ^^ #twelveintwo
Since I planned to spend a lot of time reading this weekend anyway I will participate in #twelveintwo @Samplergal 💪
I've never done anything like this before because usually it's 24 hours and that always sounded so much to me. I'm excited to see how far I come 😃
So, since it said March 1-3, does it already start friday after work? Is there anything else I need to know as a first timer? 😅
"all the little successes I'd totted up so happily at college fizzled to nothing outside the slick marble and plate-glass fronts"
I'm only at page 2 but this feels like the right book in the right moment already..
So good, but so sad, but so good, but so sad! 😅 Can someone now please hand me the next book in this series? 😍
Sorry for the very late post @jhod ! I opened your package sunday night when I returned home. I love everything from it! I'm very curious for all three of the books. I can't even decide which to read first! 😂 I love Maltesers and the card with the cat and the little hedgehog are both so so cute 😍 Thank you! ❤
#cupidgoespostal @BookishMarginalia
This book was so much fun to read! The story was thrilling and still told in a light and funny way. Lady Trent is a bold and interesting character and I had a great time reading about her adventures. Also those wonderful illustrations add a lot to it. I can't wait to read the rest of this series! ❤🐉
I finally finished Dracula! I expected it to be much more creepy, but I really enjoyed it. It's interesting to see what were the origins of this horror story. And as with most classics it's a cool feeling to finally know the storys behind all those famous characters. 😁
My #cupidgoespostal package is here! ❤ Would it also be okay, if I open it on sunday? I spend valentines day with my boyfriend in the netherlands and only arrive back home on sunday. I'm sure having a Litsy book package waiting for me at home would make the goodbye a bit less hard ;)
@BookishMarginalia
I only read bad reviews about this one on Litsy so far, but I loved it! The setting, the story, the characters, everything adds to the tension and for me made it to one of these books you just can't put down until you're done. I actually was sad when it was over way to soon. 😅
My #cupidgoespostal package will go out first thing tomorrow morning. I had so much fun finding and wrapping presents. I hope I chose the right things 😊❤ @BookishMarginalia
I usually don't read thriller but this one made me curious: A woman received a package for her neighbour and then the nightmare begins.
So then I really wanted to know what was in this package. 😅 But I found this book to far from reality to be scary and I also think it had a few to many plot twists.
This was a wonderful little book that uses thoughtful language and references to art history to show us the life of the painter Kevin Pace. It discusses the secrets we keep with us and how they change us and influence our decisions.
Thanks again @BarbaraBB This was a great choice! 🤗
1. All of it, except black tea
2. I get to spend it with my (long distance) boyfriend! ❤
3. Socks, mugs, totes, bookmarks
4. I love vanilla and coconut scents 🌴
5. Everything with chocolate is perfect!
6. Red and Purple
7. I honestly have no idea what this means 🙈
8. Yes, all of them! 😀
9. I prefer Softcover books
10. + 11. I only have Litsy to track my books
12. I love cats and everything cute 🐈😁

To anyone who struggles with the first book of this series as much as me: Keep on reading! It will soon turn into one of the best fantasy series you have ever read.😍
I love it when I get so completely absorbed by a good story that I forget everything around me and when sudden turns and revealings actually leave you being shocked because you didn't expect it.
I want to read more from this universe and would love to hear your suggestions.🤗
This one is a german comedian, so I guess most of you won't know him. Litsy also showed me an english translation of his books, but I don't know if those are as funny.
But at least in german this book was great. It's a funny yet clever read and I had to laugh out loud often. I still think that the first of his books was the best, but this one gets really close.
I completely forgot to post a picture of my wonderful #jolabokaflodswap presents yesterday, I'm sorry! I loved everything! It's so very cute that you extra went to an american supermarket to get the chocolate @BarbaraBB 😍 And I'm really curious for the book. And everything was packed so nicely. Thank you so much ❤
@MaleficentBookDragon
I hope you all have amazing holidays! 🤗
I just signed in for this wonderful swap! 🔮🏰 I love fairytale retellings 😁
You can only get matched with people from your own country, so any german Littens: Please participate! 😉

I hope that can't be considered a spoiler but: A bear called Hilda!! 😂😂😂
That's just the most ridiculous name for a bear! 😁
I had to laugh so hard when I read this ^^
I really like the book so far, this series is just getting better and better!
It arrived! It arrived! Is it christmas yet? 😃

@BarbaraBB
I found the perfect christmas present for my grandma today in the city! It's partly a biography of Jane Austen but also lots of information about the time and customs. And isn't it pretty? 😍
Since I wasn't a big fan of the first book of this trilogy (It was somehow to slow for me) it's alone my boyfriends fault that I started this one. It's his favourite series and he just left the book lying around in my flat. And now I absolutly love it! It turned out to be one of the books where you just can't stop reading until you're done. And now excuse me, I have to start the third one! 😃
@sander1095
Aaaand my #jolabokaflodswap package is on its way! ❤ ❄ @MaleficentBookDragon
Outside it's raining and stormy and I'm sitting here cozy with a blanket, some chocolate and my boyfriends favourite book series. Absolutly the best way to spend a sunday! 😍
Look what I just found in a local train station! You can just take a book if you need one for your train trip or leave the one you just finished during your trip. What a wonderful idea! 😍
Remember how I wanted to read something more light and funny next? Well... 😅😂
I just found Dracula in my local second hand store for 1 Euro. That was just to tempting. I never read it and am very curious now!
I wanted to read this one for a long time and I'm glad I finally did it. But it won't become one of my favourite books. Sometimes it was interesting and somehow 'cozy' to read about all these difficult characters, and of course it is written so so beautifully, but then I really hoped for at least ONE good thing to happen in this entire story 😅
After Les Miserables and Wuthering Heights I should really find a less depressing read now. 😂
