Healing in Progress… 🪫So far this is spot on with both my mother and step mother…

I chose this book on a whim. My brother and I were at a used book-sale and they had two copies. It was a joke purchase to read together, because it seemed like a corny end of the world story. But so far I‘m 100 pages in and I‘m actually into it. Anyone else read and like? No spoilers please!

This came highly recommended from a friend… yet I‘m almost 200 pages in and it‘s not holding my interest at all. Being only my second Stephen King novel I‘m giving it a go.

Not too far in but interesting

Great Book! I think I personally do a good job at being an accomplice, but we can ALL DO BETTER!

This is one of the best books I‘ve ever read! I have never wanted to applaud a book after I‘ve read it, but I definitely did for this one! Soo much happened in these 545 pages, and I was here for all of it! MUST READ!!

I have had this book for a few months. I realized the new movie comes out in October so I should start the book now. The very beginning had soo many sci-fi type names or people and places, I felt soo confused! Am I the only one that needs fancy names to be spread out in order to follow? Either way, I‘m reading it now and I‘m hooked so far!

I picked up this Gem at a Thrift sale. I am so glad I did! I am only a quarter of the way through but what an interesting and terrifying read! I can‘t even imagine when they went through!

There are many and I don‘t know which to choose!

The wording makes it a slow read for me. But I‘m excited!

My mother was adopted in 1962. Then almost right after her mother got pregnant and ended up have three biological children of her own. Leaving my mom as the odd one out. My mother was herself sent away at 17 to give birth to her daughter in 1980, and gave her up for adoption. We later found her! And I do not know my father but was adopted by my brothers father! Adoption is deeply woven in my family story! I‘m reading to understand my moms pain.

Started this today! I‘ve heard mixed reviews, but it‘s on my #100bucketlistbooks poster! So I had to mix it in!

So far 8 inches of snow! This book is good!

Today‘s book haul.. Needed some retail therapy after putting our dog to sleep today. RIH TYSON One from my TBR, One I had on my wish list, One I had never heard of and One from my 100 bucketlist books!

My brother is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! But then I felt very unaccomplished when I was only able to scratch 12 of the 100 books! 😳

Anyone here a product of one or two messed up parents? I feel I like to read of other dysfunctional families, so I don‘t feel alone. Many times I feel better about my own because it wasn‘t as bad as it could have been.

It was just okay for me. There was but one part that I was glued to. Other than that, it took too long for nothing, and I was not scared. To say this is one of the BEST horror books ever is wrong..

This book is soo far not scary at all... I hope it gets better...
