I was at Goodwill where I found this book and decided, “What the heck, I‘ll give it a try.” The audience is met for a younger crowd, but it was entertaining. It wasn‘t until the end when I realized it was the first book of a second series. 😂. Looks like I‘ll need to back track a few books.

One thing I‘ve notice that today‘s books no longer have, is the way the authors from a different time would present the friendship between two characters. I had a hard time rating this book. It started off strong but then it became dull. Halfway through the book, I was dragging me feet. Nonetheless I enjoyed the character development of Margaret. She started off as an innocent 12 year old forced into marriage after marriage. By her third marriage, she chose her husband and steered the rebellion. Therefore I gave it a 👍. #goodreadschallenge

It‘s been awhile since I‘ve read anything. It‘s been a couple of busy weeks! I finally finished this book and I have mixed feelings for it. I didn‘t know if I should give it a bad review for some issues in the story or a great review for making want to turn the page! Overall, I loved this book. It could use more developing and I didn‘t care for the ending, but it was a page turner. Some parts were heartbreaking. So I give it a 👍.

This was a free ebook that read. I liked the idea and there were some unexpected events. Though I disliked reading ‘I hate‘ on almost every page. The characters were flat. It was not as development as I hoped. So for me, that was a disappointment.
