It‘s a rainy day and I‘m just relaxing and starting on these two books … I‘m reading “Remember When” with my in death reading group but I‘m done with that for the week and I‘m reading the holiday book for the month and I‘ve waited long enough to start the tagged book 📖 so 👀📚

This was such a great read. It‘s really building up to the conclusion. It has me so excited for the final book. I can‘t wait to see what happens next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Characters were okay, they felt relatable with their worries.

I loved all that action, this was pretty thrilling to read & I wanted to see what was going to happen next.

Life has cut back on my reading time. Finally getting to the second book of this series I promised my oldest I would read.

Ahhh life - spent the last year after quitting thinking about alcohol, why I drank, my relationship with it, why it is for me both a blessing and a curse. Trying to find the words - and then finding that Jack London expressed pretty much everything I was working towards in his memoir of being a functional alcoholic “John Barleycorn” a hundred years or so ago.

TheBookgeekFrau Congrats on a year! And all the best going forward 🙏🏼 2d

Book #21 of 2025: “West With Giraffes” by Lynda Rutledge

Incredibly well written. Based on a true story but told from a fictional character‘s perspective, Rutledge imagines the journey two giraffes made from New York City to San Diego in 1938. It‘s poignant and heartbreaking, but also full of loving warmth. If you‘re looking for a read that pulls you in for hours then this is the book for you.
