Unbelievable ~ after almost 10 years of being on Goodreads and entering Giveaways, I received an email on Monday and the book arrived today. Frankly, I hate the word “offended”. I can‘t imagine a better time in my life to read this book and make that ONE change to rid my heart of anger.
pickSweet story about finding joy in hard circumstances with lovely imagery of the Welsh countryside. Not as complete of a story as my all time favorite St. John, Treasures of the Snow, but nonetheless a lovely spring read.
pickThis is the second book in the series. I liked it, although time span went a little too fast between the first and the second book. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

This took way longer to read than it should have. Disappointing read until last 50-ish pages. Don‘t think I‘ll be reading the rest of the series unless I hear some REALLY great things about it from y‘all 🫤
When I was in high school I read and loved this series. Returning to them now when it feels like the world is in such chaos, felt like a warm hug. Some plot points are obviously dated, but I loved rereading these books that I adored when I was so young.
pickI really like this little purple book, and I really love Joyce Meyer 🩷 A Bible verse or two for every problem ( just about, lol) - why not?! 🤷🏽♀️😊 I highly recommend all of her books. She‘s like that sassy aunt or grandmother who tells it like it is but has bible verses- relatable bible verses and the experiences to back them up 😉🩷🫶🏽😊🤗🙏🏽

I felt an urge to finish/reread this series from recent events. I've only made it 2/3 of the way through the series and it's been long enough that I need to start over rather than continuing. @Andrew65
so-soCute epistolary novel about two people who connect through an online dating site. Izzy lives in North Carolina and Brodie lives on a tiny island. I loved their mutual Lord of the Rings obsession and passion for books. I did feel like it should‘ve been edited down and quite a bit of family back-and-forth could‘ve been cut. A fun read with a subplot of great family supporting each other, just went on a bit too long.
