My physical copies of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings pocket editions arrived. These are awesome.

This one made me giggle because it‘s so silly (obviously had to share immediately)
I‘m just discovering the 15 hours feature, for the usual monthly Spotify membership. 😄 I might get cut out at that limit, but can always resume the audiobooks again later. I‘m on Spotify for music, and sure need to get back to my TBR books, and checking in here again on Litsy! 🐉📚 I‘m looking forward to everyone‘s recommendations, seeing what Spotify features, and starting off with a re-listen (long since reading 20+ years ago) The Silmarillion.
4✨ What a cute story. A story Tolkien wrote for his son who lost his little toy dog. The story follows Rover on an adventure when he is lost by his little boy. It‘s so cute and something similar happened to me as a kid. #FellowshipofTolkien @Daisey @JazzFeathers
1✨ I read about 45% of this and it was just too much. It is written well, but there is so much going on I can‘t wrap my head around it right now. I‘ll try this again sometime, but the names of elves, locations, and changes in storyline are too much for me to get into right now. Sorry guys I tried. #FellowshipofTolkien @JazzFeathers @Daisey
1. My mom is in town and I need to try to see her one evening. My children are with their dad so mostly working.
2. Ceylon tea with milk.
3. Usually scraps of paper, whatever is to hand 🙈
4. Tagged. I have a Jill Paton Walsh to start after this.
Thanks for the tag, @Monica5 !
Finally, I‘m getting around to this one. 😅 #FellowshipofTolkien @Daisey @JazzFeathers
I read this story over 20 years ago, loved it and couldn't find a copy again until I found the volume Tales from the perilous realm at the library on Saturday. It was a lovely reread although I was more deeply moved the first time.
