pickThis book was interesting. It took me a bit to get into it, but once I did I could not stop. It was weird knowing what was going on most of the story, but also not knowing at the same time. It definitely played with my mind in some places, but also predictable for most of the book. Recommend!!

pickWow! This book was amazing! It had everything I was looking for - hockey, humor, spice, & characters who felt human. The plot was amazing and the characters were well developed. There is only one major plot point I did not love, but I will not spoil it, other than that I loved the entire book. Highly recommend!

pickThis was my first ever Tessa Bailey book and I am now madly in love! I laughed, I blushed, my jaw dropped in certain parts! Who knew a book about a fake marriage could be so steamy and spicy! I loved the characters, the plot, everything about it!

As stated above this is the 2nd book & it jumps in after the events of the 1st. I was able to catch on after a couple chapters what had happened in the first book. Overall I enjoyed the book, but wish I had a bit more attachment to the characters & world they live in. I would recommend, but read the first book before you jump into this one!

Oh my stars! This book was a binge reading for me, I could not put it down! I loved both of the main characters and the plot was interesting. I loved every word of this book. I was cheering for the characters all the way through and I was not expecting some of the twists that were thrown their way. Oh and did I mention this book was spicy?! It was and this girl loves her spicy books! Highly recommend!!

pickI now understand the hype of Freida McFadden‘s books! This one definitely had me guessing and second guessing myself. I am still left with a few questions, but in a good way and I like that it was left up to me to decide what happened. I also had a big moment where all the puzzle pieces clicked together, but I had to keep going to figure out the how and why of everything! Highly recommend!

pickOH MY STARS! I am slowly easing my way into the world of Freida McFadden & this did not disappoint! I thought I had it figured out & for a long time I was convinced I was right, but there were some good twists & turns that lead to an ending I was not expecting. All the clues were there & I believed characters I should have known not to trust. The only thing is I did not love the epilogue, it didn‘t fit for me. Overall I highly recommend!

pickWow! This book was a crazy ride! It left me with my jaw on the floor because I was so shocked at the turn of events! It was an amazing follow up to The Perfect Marriage, usually sequels tend to fall short for me, but this one definitely lived up to the first one! And if you read the acknowledgment at the end you know why I am super excited by Jeneva‘s deep dark secret!!

pickI discovered that nothing was as it seemed in The Wife Between Us! Along the way I had a lot of thoughts and feelings about the characters - some good and some very bad! I was told nothing was as it seemed and that is a very good way to put it! I enjoyed the journey very much and highly recommend!!

That was my reaction to the ending of this book! While the journey felt long & drawn out, it came together. I didn‘t understand the need for one of the view points until a certain point & then it all made sense!
I was so excited to read this book & jump back into the story! It did not disappoint. I wish I had a recording of my reaction when everything fell into place! Highly recommend!

pickSo…. This was my first Freida McFadden book & I have to say I am not sure I get the hype of her books. This book was very predictable & I had it figured out extremely early on, but kept going hoping for a twist that never came. Maybe this was not the best book to start with, but I am not sure I want to read any others. Overall it was a good book & I enjoyed the journey. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good, fast read.

pickOh my stars! I love Jeneva‘s style of writing, the way she captures who the characters are, even when they are beyond unlikable, she makes them likable. I loved the plot & all the twists & turns. I figured out early on who was responsible for what was happening, but I didn‘t figure out the why until it was revealed. I was left with a few questions at the conclusion of the book, but that adds to the appeal of the book.
Highly recommend!

so-soMy goodness I never thought I would escape the mist! I entered hoping to discover how to help The Girl in the Mist, unfortunately I got trapped and it took 512 pages to make my way through! I was lead to believe that I would find romance along the way, but alas it was not the type of romance I dreamed. Now that I am finally through, I doubt I would re-enter the mist or that world!

pickI almost DNF‘ed this book! Not because I hated the characters or I hated the plot, I loved them! I hated the font or the many different fonts! I have read books where different fonts were used and it worked - not here and it was more the types of font used. I ended up switching to the audiobook!
Overall I enjoyed this book, but it was a bit long due to several plots going on and I felt those could have been a bit less.
Would recommend!

While it was a quick journey, and we were able to survive the meek hauntings the house gave us, we are now concerned about turtles and their true intentions… now those may just haunt us…🐢🐢🐢
I recently found myself thrown into the depths of the Thrills & Chills Society challenge, paired with the Thrills & Chills Library. Our theme? “The House that Haunts the Night.” After a spirited exchange of our ghostly haunted house books, we set our sights on Haunting of the Blackthorne House!
Hopefully we can uncover the chilling secrets lurking within those haunted walls!

so-soLet me start by saying I am not a fan of antique dolls or puppets - they freak me out! I thought this book would terrify me and at first going in I was creeped out, but as the story went on that didn‘t hold. I was more sad about the developments happening. I felt bad for most of the people involved. I was also left with a lot of questions in the end. Overall it was an okay book.

pickWow! Not sure what to say about this book. It was definitely not as thriller-y as I thought it would be, but it was really good. Some of the twists I was expecting, but a couple caught me by surprise. The truth is, I was left with questions once I had finished, maybe they were just small things that were overlooked in the grand scheme of the book, but I still caught them. Overall I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend!
