It is 2024, and Keith Richards is about to be sworn in as the next president of the United States. President-Elect Richards, a member of the new Republican Tea Party, is intent on spreading a new message of hope between the warring parties now in power. The public is thrilled. His party is irate. Just as he takes his oath and America begins to celebrate, shots ring out. Seconds later, the new president is dead, and the vice president elect is now the president. David Schultz, a right wing extremist and hated rival of Keith Richards becomes his running mate after a hotly contested Republican Tea Party convention the previous summer. Minutes after confirmation that Richards is dead, Schultz declares himself the new President. Meanwhile, Schultz's brother-in-law and ex-Navy Seal, Herb Farnsworth begins to suspect Schultz's involvement in the assassination. In this fast-paced political thriller, an ex-Navy Seal and his team must stop a political conspiracy and one powerful man's evil plan before the world is changed forever with the push of a button.

January 1st of the #wintergames Photo Challenge - New Year‘s

Last night, I watched this show and I‘m going to count it as a #holidayshow. I enjoyed this show. I also drank last night. I was celebrating the holiday. I drank a mini bottle of Butterscotch Liqueur and drank 2 glasses of spiked punch. I spiked my tropical punch with Vodka. That was enough alcohol for me to get a buzz. When I woke up today, I felt hungover.

#GhostsOfXmas

BookwormAHN Sounds like fun though 🩵 11mo

Happy New Year!!

I‘m trying to keep it light this year.
I‘m not going to set a book goal (this worked last year).
I‘m going to participate in #AAM, #Bookspin #Doublespin, and #SeriesLove2024 again.
I‘m going to continue my attempt to read Stephen King in publication order, but not set a number goal this time.
This year I asked my husband to pick 6 books he wants me read. These are already on my TBR I just never get to them, so I have ⬇️

Andrew65 Best of luck and have a great year! 11mo
Bookzombie @Andrew65 Thank you! Same to you! 🙂 11mo

Andrew65 @Bookzombie Thanks 😁 11mo
Reggie Happy New Year! 3 days late. Thank you so much for the prints. I love that both of them have a haunted house. I know Salem‘s Lot has to do with vampires but that house might as well be haunted. Thank you so much, Margie. 11mo
Bookzombie @Reggie Yay! Happy New Year! I‘m so glad you like them and that they made it to you. 🙂 11mo

Repost for @Jas16

I have been contemplating the challenges I want to participate in next year. Like many Littens I have so many neglected books on my own shelves that I always intend to get to and never quite do. So I decided to create my own challenge, 24 unread books pulled off my shelves that I intend to finish before the end of 2024. If anyone is interested in joining in, let me know. #24in2024

Jas16 Thanks so much for posting! 11mo
Gissy Great idea! 💡 📚👌 11mo

I‘m feeling overwhelmed by my Netgalley TBR for 2024 so I decided to organize it using these trackers that someone I follow on Instagram posted. Now, I can look at these trackers every month and see what I need to read. I‘m excited about all of these books. Will I be able to read them all on time? I will do the best I can. That‘s all I can do.

Hey everyone! We‘re happy to announce we have some changes for next years #BacklistReadathon challenge ☺️ Take your time to see what option works best for you, and be sure to tag us in your 2024 planning!

GHABI4ROSES OOOH! What is Backlist? More opportunities for nerding?! @DieAReader @Andrew65 12mo

ChaoticMissAdventures @GHABI4ROSES blacklist are books by authors that have been out for awhile (usually anything more that a year or two old). It is a publishing term where they move the authors order work to the "back" and their new stuff to the marketing "front" 12mo
TheBookHippie Let the planning begin 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 12mo
TheAromaofBooks Woot woot!!! 12mo
Andrew65 @GHABI4ROSES Looks another great challenge to get those reading lists down. Think I‘d go with option two as allows more variability and can still focus on an author a month with that option should we want to at any time. @DieAReader (edited) 12mo
DieAReader @Andrew65 I agree! Count me in @Clwojick 🤓❤️‍🔥 Another perfect excuse to read @GHABI4ROSES 😉📚 12mo
Read4life I‘m going to incorporate this with #Roll100 & #SeriesLove2024 💙💙 12mo
Clwojick @Read4life ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 12mo
RainyDayReading Looking forward to this! 12mo
Jari-chan Oh, I think I join that one! There are so many authors I want to read more of! 12mo
GHABI4ROSES @ChaoticMissAdventures oh that is fantastic. I will look at some tags as examples, they will now make sense! 12mo
GHABI4ROSES @Andrew65 Yup on Option 2! I wonder if my Stephen King list qualifies. That intersects with #LosersClubForever. Yes I am in it @DieAReader @Clwojick cus I always want an excuse to read! 12mo
Andrew65 @GHABI4ROSES Stephen King list definitely fits. 12mo
GHABI4ROSES @Andrew65 You and @DieAReader know me with my Steve. I still have not received anything on #WinterGames2023 @Clwojick so it may be an operator error on my end! 12mo
OutsmartYourShelf Are there a minimum number of books needed per author? i.e. I have a couple of series where I only need to read 2-4 books to finish them. 11mo
Clwojick @OutsmartYourShelf No minimum! Just make it work for you! 🤍 11mo
OutsmartYourShelf @Clwojick Great, thank you 😀 11mo
Bookwormjillk I‘m in for option 2! 11mo
