The Midnight Society
The Midnight Society: A Ghost Zero Novel | Dave Flora
4 posts
The second novel in the Ghost Zero series.Eighteen year-old Eddie Quick has it all: a beautiful girl, a haunted house, and a cursed ring that lets him see ghosts. Nearly a year ago, he locked the ring away - along with his ghostly mentor, Charles Pallentine - and tried to live a normal life.Unfortunately, someone is killing off the members of the Midnight Society, Pallentine's old vigilante team, and raising them as ghastly corpses with the goal of ending the ultimate crime, life itself!Eddie takes up the ring to become Ghost Zero, the gun-slinging, ghostly avenger, but is quickly out matched by the team of super-powered zombies. Fighting for his life, and racing to stop a fiend that can kill with a single word, it will take all Eddie has and more to come out of this one dead or alive.Haunted heroes fill The Midnight Society with ghostly thrills and harrowing chills, driven by characters you'll love to root for (and against)!

If anyone is looking for a Thriller Book Club/Group, have I got the one for you!!! Over on Fable, I have a book club where we read books that could have been read around the campfire by the amazing Midnight Society (aka - on Are You Afraid of the Dark).

The above are the current choices for January‘s book, if anyone wants to join in on the fun, I would love to have you!!

Roary47 Sounds fun! I have to wait until next payday to get the book though. 😢 5mo
AsYouWish @Roary47 These are not set in stone, they were just the options I got to fastest to make the poll on there. If you have any other recommendations I am super open to them or if you go back to my previous post about this I have a list of other options. This is for fun and as with everything I am super flexible. (edited) 5mo
Roary47 I‘m up for anything just because I want to experience Fable. I haven‘t done any through the app yet. 5mo
AsYouWish @Roary47 I am still learning/exploring it too. I feel like it is a mash up of a lot of apps/sites and while it is fun, there is a lot to learn too. 5mo

These are the seven books I have come up with so far as options for The Midnight Society BookClub on Fable. Now I need help actually picking, lol! If anyone wants to help me either pick or narrow it down, I would appreciate it!

You can either vote by emoji or tagging the book.

Thanks for your help!

I started a book club on Fable! I thought it would be fun to read books that could have been told around the campfire by the amazing Midnight Society (aka - on Are You Afraid of the Dark).

I am currently trying to make a list of books that would fit that criteria. They don‘t necessarily have to be YA, because I am sure the Midnight Society grew up to tell darker stories.

If you know of any or would like to join in, please let me know!

Thanks!
