Loving this cozy series. Mistletoe, Maine is a wonderfully festive setting and the characters are really likable.

Wow! This was so emotional for me. The story is about soul mates, reincarnation, love, tragedy, loss and was so good. I loved the characters. The only thing I didn't love was that it ended on a cliffhanger. 4.5 ⭐️ #SeriesLove2024 @Andrew65 #ChristmasAtoZ #LetterT @Texreader

Loved it. 🌶️🥵 great spice. Love how House Gluttony is portrayed, Gabriel‘s plotting & the ICE DRAGONS! Adriana spirals quite a bit, from the perspective of being a single woman without a suitable match who can‘t afford another scandal… it‘s not that I don‘t get it, but ooof. Luckily it doesn‘t dwell there for too long, she was a lil maddening. Really loving this series!

The Truth | Terry Pratchett

I have to say, I think this is my favorite Discworld book so far. I liked the characters in this one, and the plot was ingenious. Even though it has been over 20 years since this book was published, it is still revelant today. Of course, with Pratchett's signature humor, it was pure fun to read. 4.5⭐️

Ruthiella This was the first Pratchett I read. Loved it! 👍 2w

julesG @Ruthiella That's interesting. Most people either start with Colour of Magic - I didn't, and I'm glad. 😉 2w
julesG Glad you liked it, looking forward to the discussion. 2w
Ruthiella @julesG I bought it at a library book sale on a whim. It turns out to have been a good place to start with the Discworld, now that I‘ve read a handful. 2w
julesG @Ruthiella Just noticed I never followed up with what else people start with. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So either CoM or, in my experience(?), Mort or Witches Abroad. 😁 2w

Precious, against her better judgment, takes on a sad case from an American woman whose son went missing in #Botswana ten years ago. But she‘s an intuitive and intelligent private detective, and brave. Meanwhile her engagement to Mr JLB Matekoni brings many surprises!! The second in an entertaining series, I‘m anxious to read the next book! #foodandlit #halloweenatoz #letterT #hauntedshelf #hexesandcrows @Catsandbooks @PuddleJumper

slategreyskies This series always reminds me of my grandparents. Years ago, my grandmother bought me a copy of one of the books in this series for Christmas. My grandfather was wrapping presents for her before Christmas, & he thought it was a book that she‘d gotten for him to give to her. He inscribed it to her: “To Jeanie, Merry Christmas! All my love, Eugene.” I think I‘ll likely keep that book forever. I don‘t have anything else with his handwriting.♥️ 2mo
