According to my IPad my screen time was up 20%, I‘ve watched a ton of Friends episodes and haven‘t read very much at all. Love, Theoretically was #52Bookclub24 #WomeninStem and just ok for me. I am behind on both buddy reads and decided to DNF #TheBros. Enjoying The Biography of X. And have still only read one of the stories from Florida. 🤞🏼 for a better reading week. Next up Hello Beautiful and Let Us Descend.

Crazeedi Great progress! 10mo
Traceymclean I'm reading the Ferryman at the moment! Just started so haven't settled in yet. Look forward to reading your review when finished. 8mo

I‘m just on a frivolous rom-com kick because that‘s about all the work my brain wants to do when I‘m not doing grad school stuff. 😂 #loathetoloveyou #alihazelwood #womeninSTEM #romcoms

An excellent collection providing an overview of some of the amazing women of science and mathmatics, with deep dives into some of their lives in the form of comics. The illustrations are lovely, and the stories are well portrayed. I wish more of the women got comics, especially the BIPOC women, and I also wish there was a little more diversity (more BIPOC, asian, LGBTQ, and disabled women, for example). #WomenInSTEM #History #Nonfiction

The audiobook of this picture book was part of the Hoopla bonus borrows this month. It was a really cool listen. I didn't know about this woman (there's even a connection with Colorado in her history). I'll have to read more about here soon! I'll also have to pick up this picture book sometime to see more of the story. #WomenInSTEM #NativeAmerican #PictureBook

The book started off on the slow side and it felt a little superficial. It read like a typical YA novel with high school drama and it dragged in parts because of that. However, once the main conflict happened, the book matured and picked up the pace. The empowering message finally managed to shine through.

Double Trouble | Doreen Tovey

Okay, this is the #DoubleSpin number!! The official #BookSpin number (TWELVE!!) is in my previous post, but several participants said they would love to try to read two books from their lists, so this number is for them!! I am only tagging the people who specifically asked to be tagged with the second number. Remember, this is overall a no-pressure challenge, so I ESPECIALLY do not want people to feel pressured about reading a second book!! ⬇

TheAromaofBooks This number is here if you want it, and ignore it if you don't!! 5y
Megabooks I may or may not do the double spin, but I got some nonfiction to balance the fiction on my first spin. 5y

zezeki I think I might do double spin as well. 5y
ljuliel The Double Spin sounds like something on Wheel of Fortune. You could be the Vanna White of Litsy. 😊 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Megabooks - Mine is the other way, nonfiction for #BookSpin and fiction for #DoubleSpin. So many choices! 5y
TheAromaofBooks @zezeki - You are definitely welcome to!! I didn't tag everyone with this post, because a lot of people didn't want to feel pressured to do the second book, but I thought this way the opportunity is there if people want it!! 5y
Addison_Reads I love the #DoubleSpin idea! I'll definitely do 2 this month. 😁 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Addison_Reads - yay!! I'll be excited to see your reviews!! 5y
sblbooks My double spin book is 5y
MartinaLove I forgot to post my books 😭 5y
hes7 I think I‘ll squeeze in the second with 5y
rockpools Not sure I‘ll get there, but it‘s so different from anything else I‘ve read recently, I might try! 5y
OriginalCyn620 I didn‘t ask to be specifically tagged for it, but I‘m gonna try to get to the #DoubleSpin this month! My number one is 5y
wanderinglynn I‘m in! My number 1 is 5y
HeathHof I'm game for a double spin! My #1 is 5y
MissAimz_55 I‘m def doing the double spin number because my number 1 is a book that I should read this month for black history month! Also it fits for several of the challenges I am in including #popsugarreadingchallenge for #womeninstem . My number 1 book was 5y
guinsgirlreads Oooh yay again! The next in the Stone Barrington series that I‘m so behind on! 5y
TheAromaofBooks @MarinaLove - honestly, this is kind of a lawless challenge, so you are still welcome to join!! If you have some physical books, just count off until you get to 12, or count down 12 books on your Kindle list, or anything along those lines that will work for you! And I'll tag you when it's time to get together your March list!! ❤ 5y
TheAromaofBooks @sblbooks @hes7 @RachelO @Crazeedi @OriginalCyn620@wanderinglynn @michellelav @Mynameisacolour @MissAimz_55 @guinsgirlreads - I'm so excited that so many people want to read two books from their lists!! I am really looking forward to seeing how you all enjoy your reads!! 5y
Deblovestoread Totally doing #DoubleSpin. I feel like I going to get a real handle on my TBR so thank you. My #1 is With Fire On High. 5y
marleed I‘m down for both! 12 is Cage of Stars. 1 is Maybe You Should Talk to Someone! 5y
Clwojick Not sure yet if I‘ll be doing #DoubleSpin, but i should since it‘s been on my TBR FOREVERRRR... and we all know I can finish more than 2 books in a month 😅 Hopefully I‘ll go for it, and if I do my book is 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Kdgordon88 @marleed @Clwojick - hope you make it to the second title!! I only put “easy“ books on my list so I think I can do both! 😆 5y
RainyDayReading Woo! I‘m so excited! My second title is The Dead House which has been on my TBR for years!! Redwall and The Dead House, shaping up to be a pretty good month 😁 5y
TheAromaofBooks @RainyDayReading - I haven't heard of The Dead House, so I'll look forward to your review!! 5y
CarolynM This is my IRL book group read this month. Score! #twoforone 😂 5y
TheAromaofBooks @CarolynM - HA! Nice one. 😁 5y
RainyDayReading @TheAromaofBooks It‘s basically a mixed media YA horror/thriller that I‘ve been dying to read! I think it has flown under the radar for a while haha. 5y
TheAromaofBooks @RainyDayReading - I'm not usually a horror fan, but I really do like the mixed media concept for books. 5y
Suet624 I'm coming up with my list now. I know #12 was picked for February, but was there are number picked for January? I need to know so that I leave those two numbers blank on my list. 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Suet624 - 18 was January's number. However, all 20 numbers are possible every month. 5y
Suet624 Oh! Great. Thanks so much. 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Suet624 - Sorry, I was on mobile earlier so I may have sounded a little abrupt lol But yes, each month you can either make an entirely new list, fill in new books to the slots that were chosen that month, or double number some of your books (I had someone who read their 18th book in January but didn't want to add a book to their list, so they just made their 3rd book represent book No. 3 and No. 18 for the sake of the draw). Hope that helps! 😊 5y
Ellsbeth I am getting back into Litsy after a long hiatus and was looking at the different reading challenges. I really like this idea. Thank you! 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Ellsbeth - glad you are finding your way back to this happy community!! I am planning to do a draw every month, so if you want, I can add you to the tag list to let you know when it's time to post your March list. 😊 5y

4/15 #jumpstart2020 @Clwojick @StayCurious

Enjoyable, interesting and fair minded exploration of the factors that lead to men and women‘s brains being perceived as different and the prejudices and odd experimental methodology that leads to it. I appreciated the nuanced conclusions which were more than ‘men and women are definitely no different‘, but took a lot of factors into account.

Sky_High Thanks for sharing. Definitely gonna read this book. 5y

First book of 2020! I wish it would have been a 👍.

I think this is a case of knowing too much about a subject to be able to enjoy a graphic novel geared towards the middle grade crowd.

#pop20 #womeninSTEM
#nonfiction2020 #grateful : these 3 women were hugely inspirational to me when I studied anthro, I‘m grateful for their contributions to their groundbreaking work!

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I understand that feeling! 5y
