Sleepswithbooks I think this was my favorite in the series so far but *damn* it took me forever to read!!! I started the series in January so I‘d be ready to read this one with y‘all. Anyone else reading the series for the first time too? 3y

DGRachel @Sleepswithbooks I didn‘t make it past book three. I wish the books had an audiobook narrator I liked, as I‘d probably be able to get through them if the narrator didn‘t put me to sleep. 🥺 But, I‘m glad you enjoyed it! 3y

Mistermandolin I have the same problem. I can‘t read and listen to the Dead at the same time. Jerry hooks me in and takes me someplace else - every time! Then again, I ain‘t complaining.... 4y

DGRachel @Tattooedteacher I haven‘t read the whole series. I think I read the first three or maybe bailed on the third (I can‘t remember), so I‘m not positive. I‘d be inclined to say no, The Dark Tower series should probably be read in order. @TheNeverendingTBR you‘ve read the whole series, right? What do you think about reading them out of order? 4y

BookwormAHN I really enjoyed the backstory. The ending is insane 😸 6y

LazyDays This was a really slow slow for me. I loved seeing into Rolands past, but I feel as if King kind of dragged this book out a little bit. Poor Susan💔 They are just kids trying to make extreme choices. 6y

MinDea @LazyDays I remember feeling that way basically in all these books especially the next 3. I just felt like they dragged a d I had a ahrd time with them. I love King but he can be so worry at times. 6y

Jovy I love young Roland, when his mind wasn‘t yet consumed with the Dark Tower. Also love his original ka-tet. Cuthbert‘s scene with Roland was one of my faves! 6y
