I always like Jennifer McMahon. This wasn‘t my favourite of hers, but I still liked it. It was a bit easy to predict. But I enjoyed her spin on a ghost story. It was more comforting than creepy.

Here‘s my current TBR for #scarathlon2021 and #TeamHarkness. I decided this year I‘d try to incorporate more graphic novels and middle grade to hopefully rack up more points.

It has taken me a while to finish the #TeamHarkness buddy read. But this one is finally off my TBR. And oh my gosh I loved it! I am a sucker for magical realism, supernatural creatures and a good dose of history. I know some people don‘t like this style but I really enjoy authors weaving a tale and fleshing out the main plot. Plus the alchemy books sounded amazing.

The others in the series are definitely making it into my TBR now!

Well #teamharkness its a little late but better late than never! Finally finished one of our reads. This book is Buffy the Vampire Slayer all grown up. Light and only a little tiny bit gory. Sarcasm galore. @StayCurious
