I loved this book, and gained more appreciation of it after hearing the Author‘s Note about Persian mythology and lore. If you like Sabaa Tahir, you‘ll love this book. Thanks for choosing this gem @CareBear @Endowarrior21 @Alfrazier21 #GroupF #LMPBC

I really loved this book, full of magical realism. It was a nice change of pace from my other fantasy reads that include intensive world building (which I love too). I really enjoyed the historical and scientific references/discussions, which really brought out my inner nerd.
I‘m really enjoying reading these books with my daughter (3.5 yo)! The illustrations are colorful and vibrant, and we love that it‘s written like journal entries. Very cute.

1. Getting my cold weather clothes out of the attic, buying Macoun apples from the farm, and that extra hour of sleep! 2. Sarah J. Maas, Sabaa Tahir. 3. Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir (read it last month, but way creepier than what I‘m reading now). #WondrousWednesday
“A dreamer,“ scorns her mother. “A dreamer,“ mourns her father. “A dreamer,“ warns Estelle. Still, it does not seem such a bad word. Until Adeline wakes up. ~~~About 1/3 of the way through this book and loving it!
Just finished books 1 and 2 of this series and I really enjoyed them. The descriptions of the food, clothes and jewelry are captivating and fantastical; ultimately a really fun and entertaining read.
