This lovely #jolabokaflodswap box showed up this week. Thank you! Can‘t wait to crack it open.

I forgot to post a picture of my #jolabokaflodswap box when I sent this out last week. It traveled up the east coast and should be arriving today. Enjoy!

I could use (and spread) some holiday cheer this year so I signed up for the #holidaycardswap. Looking forward to picking out some cards this weekend. #cardswap #litsycardswap
Just went into the BOTM app and noticed that they added hints for July (hoping The God of the Woods is one of them). Did I miss some of these extras last month or are these new? Looks like one of our August #camplitsy books is an extra! #BOTM
#weekendreads Just finished the tagged. Love this series.
Hoping to finished I Love You But I‘ve Chosen Darkness on audio. Just started Moon of the Turning Leaves. Peppering in some short stories from The End of the World is a Cul de Sac.
More goodies from my husband for my cold black heart. I‘ll be dipping in and out of the Radiohead and Cure book throughout the year. Bog Bodies was great and Blood Stained Teeth is up next.
Got these beauties from family over the holidays. Can‘t wait to jump into the tagged book. I have a small globe collection and am interested to read how they are made.
Thank you, Jessi! The tagged was from my wish list and I love the Montague Siblings series! I‘m sure I‘ll have fun with book 3. Love it! #jolabokaflodswap #jolabokaflod

Just got back from a fantastic trip to England. Hit some wonderful indie bookstores and picked up these British goodies. Also pictured are two of my (many) York Ghosts I acquired on this trip. Love these little guys.

#staycationintime Look at this wonderful collection of Icelandic goodies. I‘m in love! @Chrissyreadit thank you so much. The books are perfect. I currently have the lava bracelet on and am making this tea in my new aurora mug! I‘ve been to Iceland twice and have been to all the bookmark spots. What a great gift of memories. Thanks again for this killer box. Can‘t wait to start reading about the hidden folk.
This lovely just arrived! Thanks swap buddy. Now the wait begins. I‘m boxing mine up today and will be sending out tomorrow. #staycationintime
Last weekend we stopped into this new to us comic book store in Lawrenceville, NJ-Final Boss. The guys who run the shop are fantastic and full of recommendations. Had a blast talking all things horror comics. Picked up these three beauties.
I needed a win in a sea of losses this week and #botm pulled through for me this morning with some picks that put a smile on my face. Looking forward to these two. Hope everyone else found something to add to their box this month.
Found a beautiful reading spot at Naumkeag in the Berkshires today.
I‘ve been having a tough couple weeks and this graphic just made me smile today. This is so sweet. Wanna play? Head over to @DinoMom or #athingaday for more info. Thanks for posting this giveaway!
Took some time this morning to finish this one before heading home from our weekend in the Hudson Valley/Catskills. Wish I had one more day! I‘m on a LaValle run and loving every minute of it. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.
Wow. This was stellar. Has anyone read any of Everett‘s other works? I need more but am not sure where to start. Would love a recommendation.
Finished my first #authoramonth today. This month I read the tagged and the book in the picture. While I liked both of them (LaRose more than Shadow Tag), I‘m still not sold on Erdrich. I always seem to like not love her books.
Looks like my plans of reading in bed all day after a tough couple of days is on hold. I‘m going to take in a little retail therapy first. Who is joining me at B&N‘s amazing sale?
I am so sad today. #literati announced that the book subscription service is ending. It really is my favorite subscription service-giving you tons of seriously thought provoking selections each month to choose from. The app was fantastic and included a page tracker for your current read. Oh well. I guess all good things come to and end 😭 The tagged book appears to be my last selection.
Spent some time at Edith Wharton‘s The Mount last weekend. I so wish I was there again today. If you are ever in the Berkshires, it‘s a must. Finishing the tagged today.
Well this is a first. I filled my #botm box. Looking forward to these three. Hope everyone else found something this month.
I have to thank #thatsclassic for getting me to pull out this gorgeous Folio edition for June‘s book pick. Fantastic gothic setting and many memorable (deplorable) characters. Loved it.
Just received my first box from Literati Book Clubs. Looking forward to this one. #literati
This may be the best author talk I‘ve been too. Yaa Gyasi talking with Kazuo Ishiguro for the Bay Area Book Festival. Fantastic.
Happy Independent Bookstore Day! One of my favorite days of the year. Not pictured is the free audiobook from Libro.
Spent a little time with two of my favorite guys this weekend -Sedaris on audio and Gorey in puzzle form.
My peeps were super generous this year with the book gifts. Here is my holiday book haul. The little house is actually a bookstore!
Wow! This is the first time in a long time that I found more than one book that I am excited about. Way to go BOTM. A great start to 2021. #botm
1. The first several chapters of Dracula. The journey to the castle and first introduction are stellar. 2. Only Lovers Left Alive. 3. The tagged book was excellent. #spookysaturday
Here‘s to December 1st and being able to start my new bookish advent calendar.
Clearing my head at my favorite local spot with the tagged book after a couple of tough weeks. Hope everyone is hanging in there.
In a zoom meeting with Jenny Lawson and Samantha Irby! Two fantastically funny people. This is what I needed this week.
