All hail the Cheese Queen! While this absolutely did test the limits of me not giggling while listening to this at work… I had an absolute blast rereading this (as part of my plan to actually finish a series I‘ve started)

Okay, I absolutely loved this! It was just so silly and fun, and sexy as well! It's got all the best parts of a fantasy story, but without any of the heavy thinking, if that makes sense? Just a really fun story that doesn't take itself too seriously! 💕📚 I'm really looking forward to reading the other books in the series!

A woman helps a demon take down a false goddess in this steamy fantasy romance novel with DnD vibes. If you're looking for something fun and relatively light despite the violence and stakes, the Mead Mishaps series is definitely it.

This is really freaking funny. It's ridiculous. And it's written in Gen Z. I was thoroughly entertained.

This is the definition of a rom-com fantasy romance. So much fun!! Laugh out loud humor and sass back and forth. Very quick read, well, listen in my case. Which is likely why I didn‘t get a vibe for anybody, as in I didn‘t feel emotionally attached to most of the characters. Did fall in love with Fallon and Cin‘s sass. The narrator was incredible. Just wish the ending pulled things together differently, was abrupt. Just never emotionally destroyed

1.5/5⭐ The humor and romance are just so heavy handed. The demon is yet another boundary-breaking domineering man. The writing is weak.

Fallon and Cinnamon‘s relationship is cute. The fact that he asked for her consent before he did anything was refreshing. My only complaint is the fact that the story started to drag a little bit towards the end. Other than that the writing is pretty easy to follow. This book is like going out for tacos and margaritas with a friend. It's cozy fun, you'll be laughing, you'll be thinking about delicious food, and it brings the heat! 🔥🌶️🥵
I loved every bit of it! Cinnamon is a new favorite character! I'd love to read more reluctant heroes in fantasy, please.

Cherry was kidnapped by a dragon five years ago, so when another dragon shows up Cherry decides to convince him to save her. When Dante sees Cherry and realizes he's finally found his mate, he doesn't need anything to convince him to rescue her and convince her that they're meant to be together.

This was a fun read, but I do wish this had spent more time focusing on Cherry reuniting with Cinnamon and the rest of her family.

Cinnamon saves a trapped man, she certainly doesn't expect the man to turn out to be a demon, or that demon to tell her everything she believed about the world is incorrect. Now Cinnamon is going on an adventure to save demons from an evil witch.

This was such a fast, fun read. I liked the magic and mythology of the world, as well as the romance between the main characters, and I'm really excited to see where the next book goes.

This book was a scream — so funny and silly, but with an undercurrent of sweetness and an exploration of finding yourself again after a loss that surprised. Lots of action — some graphic violence, as a warning — and just enough spice. Recommend as a brain refresher after something heavy or dreary.

Started this one last night — so far it‘s pretty funny, with great banter and lots of action. The characters are very well sketched and enjoyable so far…

Finished earlier in the week but forgot to post. I‘m giving it a soft pick as It was cute & spicy if not particularly well written. On my TBR a while since getting it as a cheap Kindle deal & since I put the next 2 e-books on hold & they finally came in about the same time last week, I thought I‘d get it read. I liked the characters & humor & it‘s a quick read, so I‘ll try & work the rest of series in.

Listen, I had a GREAT time. Was it well written? No, not really, but was it fun? Absolutely. I bought the whole trilogy lol.

This was ok. Cute and quirky, a little spicy, just fell a little short for me.

This was like a solo d&d game with an overprotective dragon shifter romanceable npc.

I enjoyed the humour, the banter between characters was great, and it was the right length and speed for the story.

I was a bit miffed that we didn't learn much about what happened to the other characters after the BBEG died. That would have been better than another sex scene.

I'm hoping the rest of the series will revisit some of the characters.

This one was silly and sweet and just what I needed to kick off my vacation. Definitely want to look into the rest of the series!

8 out of 10 for me. If you love reading fanfics, this is a good book for you. It felt like a fan girl ode to fantasy. I enjoyed it. In some aspects it felt rushed but sometimes that how fanfics go. I have add the series to tbr. I am way to excited to read the next adventure.

This was a quick read, & a fun little adventure.
Some of it was silly, but I anticipated it would be on the “cozy” side.

It had a couple tropes that are just not my favorite (instalove 😒) & some plot points are random & not built up.
The 🌶️…. The dirty talk was very cringe-y in my opinion. Just didn‘t do it for me.

I was really looking forward to starting this series, & idk if I‘ll continue it, but I haven‘t totally written it off

A spice farmer named Cinnamon with a wicked sense of humor drunkenly rescues a demon only to uncover an evil plot that sweeps her off on an adventure full of dragons, goddesses, and a helluvalot more spice than she‘s used to seeing on the family farm! This was light, fun, funny, and sexy, but I do think the pacing is just too fast and I kind of wish we had a dual POV.

So yeah.... I just finished Oh My Goth. I really enjoyed it. Teaches some good lessons.
Now on to my 21st book of the year (really, holy crap who am I? lol).

Daughter of a spice farmer, Cinnamon (her mother had a sense of humor), drunk from the celebrations after sending their local hero off to defeat the demons & restore peace in the goddess‘ name helped a man trapped under a landslide. Wasn‘t a man, totally a demon, and turns out the goddess is a lich. The demon drags Cin off to help defeat the lich against her better judgement.
Pacing felt a bit too fast & could use some more editing. Funny & spicy

Hilarious characters in a spicy adventure story.

Okay 😅 It was a struggle, but I managed to get my list down to 25 books for #bookspinbingo. My #loveathon TBR/Wishlist is probably closer to 75 books, but these ones are the ones that will work well with all the challenges I have going on.

Cin was really hilarious main character and I loved how she stood up for herself. I also loved how she just wanted a normal life.

This was quite strange mixture of fantasy and rom-com but really hilarious.

Plot was fast and straightforward and I laughed aloud several times. This was really light and fun.

This was a fantastic romp of a book. Cinnamon accidentally saves the demon Fallon and gets roped into helping him defeat the witch keeping all the demons under her spell. This had the perfect mix of comedy, romance, and adventure!

I never knew I needed a spicy, cute and funny fantasy rom-com until I read this book. It's fast paced but so well done that it doesn't feel rushed at all.

I especially loved the main character Cinnamon with her funny personality and her love of good food and spices. She just feels like someone I would love to be friends with.

10/10 Would recommend this book to anyone!!

This was very fun. A fantasy/adventure/funny/monster romance. Our protagonist is a small village gal that accidentally saves a demon (all various monsters are demons in this universe), then silly adventure ensues. This is steamy and surprisingly violent, so warning about that, but otherwise no triggers that I noticed. 4.5⭐️

The spicy, funny, diverse fantasy rom-com you didn't know in your life. There's lots of food, lots of sexiness, and an A+ plot too. I also binged the sequel novella and book 2 immediately after this, and signed up for the author's Patreon, if that tells you anything. (CW: violence, dubcon, light BDSM play)
