I was so excited to read this book only to be disappointed. I‘ve read quite a few dark romance novels in the last two years. I don‘t expect them to be perfect but at the same time I expect a decent story. Unfortunately, this story didn‘t have that. .

It felt like they were too many characters and the main character to me wasn‘t likable. I can‘t believe I finally finished reading this book. I also cannot believe that this book is finally out. Scarlett St. Claire has become one of my favorite authors despite the fact that I‘ve only read three of her books so far. Well, four counting this one. I finally finished reading this book. I balanced reading this book and working on Camp Nano July. The story, the characters and the plot twist were worth the wait. Meg Gardner continues to be one of my favorite thriller authors. I‘ll be waiting patiently for book 5.

There‘s No Way I‘d Die First by Lisa Springer was not what I expected it to be. You can‘t judge a book by its cover but I did.
