I was so excited about the release of this book. Unfortunately, it let me down. The narration rambled on at times, it felt like a chore to read it and the ending was anti-climactic. The best horror films always have a sequel. Sometimes that sequel is better than the original . Other times that sequel is worse. Stephen Graham Jones‘ Don‘t Fear The Reaper can be described as the latter not the former. I‘ve been waiting so patiently for this second book in the series.
