I thought that The Coven by Harper L Woods was going to be a typical supernature romance. Not in a bad way but a familiar way. I tried to read this book in September but couldn‘t focus so I set it aside. As you can see , I gave it another shot and I‘m glad that I did. I can‘t wait to read the second book. #TheCoven #HarperLWoods

It was spicy but a bit boring story was good

DNF at 60%. The narrative was lackluster and the world building took a back seat to instant lust between a headmaster and student. It was okay to listen to while I was deep cleaning my house today, but I have no desire to continue it. #hailthebail

Low pick. I randomly picked this one up because I needed an audiobook to listen to. It‘s a dark academia (with not really a lot of learning or classes). A lot of sex, drama and revenge. I had no idea where this story was going or what it was really about. But the ending was pretty good. I don‘t know if I‘ll read the 2nd book.

It's still pretty warm here, but at least it cooled down enough to make spending an afternoon at the park enjoyable again! 💕📚 I'm hoping to read a lot of spooky books in the next two months! What is everyone excited to read this fall?

Picked this solely because of the cover. It was dark and messed up so if that‘s not your vibe then move right along. I loved it and it made my roadtrip home go fast!
