I have recently started reading a bit more again and when I saw on TikTok that this new Emily Henry book was a must read, I thought I should give it a go. I have read one of her books before and I honestly love the way she writes. I‘m already halfway through this book and again this story feels like a warm hug and soft giggles. It‘s very enjoyable and I can‘t wait to read how this story ends 🙏🥰

Finally finished a book again!! ✌️ Pregnancy brain made focussing on a book really hard but the maternity leave relaxation helps with the focus. So glad I can now work on my backlog a bit. I was in a very big reading slump this month so it took me way longer to finish this book than I had anticipated, but I did enjoy the story a lot more than the second volume. The ending thooo, now I want to know more but I still have to wait for the fourth volume 🤪🤪

I had a bit of a hard time getting through this second book. Where I loved Persephone in the first part, here she was really getting on my nerves most of the time. The mistakes she made, the anger she had towards Hades and other things as well, it annoyed me so much that I almost didn‘t finish… but I did, I want to know the end!! Loved the ending of this book and hoping the third book will show a more positive and badass Goddess!!

Ooooh I liked this third and last book of the Sun Summoner trilogy. I‘m actually a bit sad now that it‘s over. I‘m thinking of maybe getting the other Grishaverse books as well, but for now I have to make do with the memories of these books living rent free in my mind. And maybe I will try and give the Netflix serie a go as well!

Not sure why, but it took a lot more effort and concentration from me to get through this second book after having read through the first one so super fast. It was still enjoyable tho!!

Okay so I went through this book much quicker than I had anticipated. I had hoped for a bit more spice, but I knew beforehand that this was in no way a smut type fantasy. I really was intrigued by the story and the world building though! I did struggle with some of the words/terms in the beginning, but in the end it was so natural to read and I can‘t wait to start the next book 🙏🥰

I have to admit that of all the girls, Stella was the one story I‘m least interested in, but I will still read this final book and who knows, maybe in the end she‘ll be the one I like the most!

This was such a wholesome read and I am already saving up the buy the second and third book in this serie 🙏🥰
