This is another perfect example of why Christina Lauren is my absolute favorite writing duo and writers. I laughed, I cried tears of sadness and joy. I was left with the warmth that only they can provide in another beautifully written book.

Call it superstition, but I‘ll be starting this book to ring in the new year. This was the first year since I got back into reading in 2021 that I didn‘t start off with a CLo book. As dramatic as it sounds, this was also the worst year of my life. Forever grateful for @Mommamanzi and all of her love and support 🩵.

This was a reread and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. Finished it before my cold amped up to include a fever 🤒 Staying in for NYE isn‘t unusual for me but it would be nicer if I wasn‘t fighting off whatever this thing is

Sweet romance with an interesting time loop twist. Fun!

⭐️ This is the worst book I‘ve read this year. Time loops are very hard on paper but these characters were so one dimensional I don‘t think even the silver screen could save it.

I‘ll be discussing this one with my daughter when I see her Friday. I love that she asks me to buddy read with her. This was a reread for me but the first read for her. I can‘t wait to hear her thoughts.

?4️⃣☃️It was a rough December & I've never felt less "Christmasy". I needed this book for its' cozy, easy reading & happy ending. A Groundhog Day time loop set in Park City, UT-one of my favorite places, so I loved this. The romance was friends to lovers & it delivered. It felt real, it was flirty & fun to read. Snowy winter fun, board games, the hilarity (sometimes uneasiness) of the time loop, sneaking around romance & family tradition.✨️

‘One Christmas wish, two brothers, and a lifetime of hope are on the line..‘

This was my second time reading this. The perfect book to end December with.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ If a Hallmark movie and Groundhog Day created a love child novel. Mae keeps living the same annual cabin trip over and over, and in doing so, attempts to manipulate situations in hopes of the right outcome. Pretty cheesy, but a cute December read. #BOTM #backlist

Now, I think it's fair to say that I'm not a reader of rom-coms so I approached this one with a bit of trepidation. I am surprised by just how much I enjoyed this. I think the time loop premise helped, but it also had some funny moments & some rather steamy ones. (continued)

Starting this for my August #tbrdeckofcards as I have hit a wall with my Rushdie for #authoramonth (Midnight‘s Children). Will resume Rushdie after a brief holiday break. I could use some Christmas temperatures!

This was a great little holiday romance book with a little bit of a Groundhogs Day redo moments. Great feel good book.

Okay, this was freaking cute. Just the right kind of Christmas, feel good and holly jolly vibes one needs. Just enough “groundhog‘s day” where you aren‘t over the restart, family and relatable life drama with romance, naturally.

I wanted to read a book about the holidays, and one of my least favorite genres is romance. Needless to say, this book wasn‘t for me. I guess that just about sums it up. If you like romance novels, this book might be for you. I found it disappointing.

I used to subscribe to Illumicrate, but the shipping from the UK was way too expensive (maybe one day in the future I can resubscribe). I also used to subscribe to BOTM, but I think their quality could use some improvement.

A read reminiscent of Groundhog Day, Make keeps reliving different moments in her life in this charming read. I enjoyed the popping in and out of different time periods in this book, it was just perfect for this storyline. It was a heartfelt, enjoyable, sweet, lovely holiday story. I especially liked how Mae had to face the consequences of her mistakes, her honest talks with her loved ones were touching and heartwarming. A magical holiday read.

I'm trying to start thinking about my #WinterGames plans because the wait times on books can be so long on Libby. I thought I could go ahead and put myself on some hold lists. I'd love some recommendations for wintery/Christmasy romance novels. I read In a Holidaze and The Twelve Dates of Christmas last year and really enjoyed both of them. I have put Written in the Stars on hold. Any other suggestions?

4✨I struggled figuring out and keeping track of all the characters in the beginning, but got a handle on it. Even though there was a groundhog element it was one of the most realistic romances I‘ve read in a while. I love the way it ended too. Sort of a Christmas Groundhog day - Maelyn has been in love with Andrew Hollis (a family friend's son) since she can remember. When what may be the last year the group spends together at their Christmas cabin retreat goes awry, she finds herself reliving the trip until she can figure out what and who makes her happy. January 21, 2022 AND JUST LIKE THAT... i finished reading the book!!! Omg It was steamy, suspenseful, and just as I had joped the ending would be. I love the characters Maelyn and Andrew (love birds). I enjoyed reading about their romantic relationship. 5/5

January 20,2022 It has 18 days since my last post. Here is what I will share with you though: I FINISHED TWELVE DATES OF CHRISTMAS AND CHRISTMAS SOPHAHOLIC. I would give Twleve Dates of Christmas a 5/5 and Christmas Shopaholic a 4/5. I am reading my last christmas themed book IN A HOLIDAZE. Not sure what rating I will give it so stay tuned...

This is my first read of Christina Lauren.This is a festive, quirky, romance that has a ‘ground hog day‘ type plot. Meaning, the days repeat themselves and one lucky person, Mae in this case, gets to be driven batty over it.
