My HOA finally came around to the idea of a Little Free Library for our community! An excited board member expedited the process and got things set up. Spent a good few hours yesterday with her painting our LFL and hopefully we‘ll eventually have a mural on the back wall and plant a fairy garden around the stump it‘s set upon. I couldn‘t resist adding some books today even tho the official unveiling is later this week! 📚💕 #LFL #littlefreelibrary
My friends have worked for about 2 months on their Little Free Library. I‘ve wanted one for a long time but am fine with donating to theirs instead. After they put it up, they got a hook for dog leashes & are going to add a bench. Pictured is Lulu on her birthday (they made up a birthdate & we aren‘t sure how old she is).
So according to the neighborhood gossip, another neighbor says that drug dealers are hanging out on the corner by my LFL. Y‘know, sittin‘ on thé bench, doing drug deals.
I‘m a little chagrined that they don‘t seem to be leaving me books.?
Also: every night on our way into the house after walking the dogs, we check the LFL. No drugs, ever! What gives??

Saw the coolest thing in Oslo Norway this past week- a phone booth which is pretty rare to@find these days but inside was a free library - Genius!! Saw a few of them around the town and loved it!
Found this little free library next to the monastary Mariastein in Switzerland. Actually there has been a lot of theological literature in it. Unfortunately, that‘s nothing for me. 🙈
I found a free library near my house. Sadly sun damaged for the majority of them, but Arizona problems. The picture on the app is not what I expected. Mostly romance for me and quite a few kids books. At least my kiddos found something. 🤷♀️

Added a little free library to our book desert neighbourhood here in Haida Gwaii. It has been up for about a three weeks, and we have had 14 books taken, 12 added… pretty good for a town of 150! Many thanks to my expert advisor @LeahBergen #lfl #littlefreelibrary

The LFL I typically use is at the community center where I take aquatics classes, but for various reasons I haven‘t been there since before Thanksgiving. I have a bit of a backlog! Time to scope out some other options.

This is the free library in the village I am living since one year. I keep on constantly checking it but so far I could not find interesting books for me. 🧐
Was at a park near my house and saw that there‘s a LFL there! Did not know it was there until now, and I do happen to have books to put in it!
There was significant storm damage in my neck of the woods yesterday. My neighbors maple tree came down into my front yard (the sound!) missing my house by inches (sparing my much-needed, long saved-for $10k paint job completed on Wednesday!). My decorative 8 foot cone-shaped fir tree did not survive the hit by the maple tree, but I think it‘s my only damage beside cleanup. … I took this pic of an LFL while looking at all the storm damage.

Our elementary school PTO just installed this #LFL for community use! Today, at school pick-up, I put in three grownup books (bottom right). I‘m culling my collection, so planning to donate a few grownup books every week through the end of the school year. I love this vessel for sharing our love of reading!

Year 2 of candy and books for Halloween is a wrap! Gave away about 50 kids, middle grade, and YA books! Tons of parents told us how much they appreciate visiting our LFL regularly with their kids. 📚💕

Found this free little library in Shubenacadie Wildlife Park, just before we headed out in our canoe for an hour. Spectacular day celebrating my daughter‘s 25th birthday.
Visited my first ever little free library… it was raining so I didn‘t have *as* close a look as I would have liked but I shoved in a DWJ and a Mary Stewart and took out a random book that had a pretty cover 🫣 exciting stuff! ☔️
Kind of tempted to paint my fridge now tbh.
My boys placed several like-new Little Golden Books (Marvel, DC, Star Wars, etc) in the LFL at one of our amazing local parks. 💚 Sure hope some little ones take these home and enjoy!

The PTA hosted an end of year party for the kids (school gets out on the 22nd). I rolled out the cart of free books. They still can't believe they get to keep the book.

Currently I am travelling in Iceland and found this little free library in front of the swimmingpool of Vestubærlaug in Reyjakvik. Mostly English and Islandic books can be found here.
My Little Free Library garden has been getting it‘s spring spruce up over the last 2 weekends. Got the new baby plants and mulch in today. Mexican Heather and Lantana. I can‘t wait to see how the flowers do! 💜 I added some new books after I was done digging too. 😁📚🌸

There‘s one in my neighbourhood I‘ve been meaning to drop some stuff off at but I‘m unsure of the etiquette of dropping multiple books.
Reorganized my book shelves and found some that needed a new home. I donated some of them to nearby Little Free Libraries.

Our LFL, The Monarch Manor, opened last week. It was a crazy wild ride and thank God my BFF drove over to help me set up, make sure I ate, and kept my nerves down. I was so scared no one would show up. That was not the case though, we ended up getting 37 books into kids hands in ONE afternoon. I‘m so excited I get to bless children this way! It was a great success!!!

Can we talk about how awesome this dude is? He absolutely hates reading, doesn‘t understand why I do it so much, enjoy it, or spend money on books (I know, I know, he has good qualities too, I swear!) BUT he loves me enough to learn how to wood work, paint, seal, and about a million other little things to make my hearts desire come true! Our families very own LFL!

On my way to work I dropped off two cozy mysteries and the #booksleeve I made last night to the #littlefreelibrary by my house.
Please help our Little Free Library reach our goal of 100 books in children‘s hands. We are located a few homes down from the neighborhood k-8th school, so many of the bike rider/walkers go RIGHT PAST OUR HOUSE! We have the opportunity to impact so many children and hopefully start or foster their love of reading and learning. Please repost!

I went for an impromptu walk through the woods at the local arboretum and stumbled upon this little free “Forest Library” for children. Pretty magical! 🌳🍄📚
I often keep my eyes peeled for little free libraries when I'm out exploring. This may be the cutest one I've ever seen! (Located in downtown Cedarburg, WI)
